The 2017 General Senior High School Physics Curriculum Standard puts forward the teaching goal of cultivating students' core literacy.History of physics is an important resource for cultivating students' core literacy.Incorporating the history of physics in the teaching process can help students understand the knowledge and promote students' core literacy.form.Galileo 's research on Free-fall motion opened the door to modern science and is a milestone in the history of physical development. It contains Galileo 's scientific ideas and is an important resource in the history of physics. This article will focus on Galileo's research on Free-fall motion. This article adopts a questionnaire survey method, through the questionnaire survey of students and teachers,to understand the current status of physics teaching, and design teaching based on the survey results;to trace the background of the Free-fall motion, the development process, and tap the scientific ideas contained in it;History content design teaching cases with the goal of cultivating students' core literacy, and carry out teaching experiments, and evaluate the teaching effect through two ways: questionnaire surveys and post-testing of learning results. The results of practical research show that the teaching mode of the history of physics can enhance students' love of physics subjects, help to cultivate students' subject thinking, form correct physical concepts, and can improve students' academic performance to a certain extent. In short, the history of physics is an important resource for physics teaching, and I hope that teachers will take it seriously.Because the time is limited,I have only selected the section of Free-fall motion for research, but the physics history resources and teaching cases provided in the article hope to give teachers reference.
