College Physics is an important general compulsory course for university students in science and engineering. Infiltrating Physics History into College Physics teaching can inspire students’interesting in learning and exploring College Physics, as well as to help the grasping of the system and research method of physics, to foster students’scientific emotion&attitude, outlook on life&values.Up to now, there is no systematic research on the teaching approach of infiltrating Physics History into College Physics teaching at home and abroad, especially the theory and methods to operate easily which is studied in this essay from two sides of theory and practice. In this essay, four chapters are divided to teaching goal, teaching content, teaching principles, teaching strategies and teaching methods of how to infiltrate Physics History into College Physics teaching.Chapter1mainly introduces the genesis of the topic, significance of the study, general situation of present research, contents to be studied, concept definition, research method. Chapter2gives the goals of penetrating Physics History into College Physics teaching from their aspects including knowledge and skill, process and method. In Chapter3, based on the cognitive learning theory, humanistic learning theory and the necessity and the reasons of penetrating Physics History into College Physics teaching are studied, some problem should be paid attention also be covered. Chapter4expatiates how to Infiltrating Physics History into College Physics teaching from physics research method, the important physics law background and development process, the finding process and significance of some important experiments, referencing of original literatures, historical background of science fields’building, the scientists’life, fun and school debate. At the end, several cases are showed to state the effect, strategy and method of penetrating Physics History into College Physics teaching. There are also three detailed cases of physics history in the appendix to the approach of how to do this.This study comes from the author’s teaching practice and thinking. And the implementation results are showed briefly in the afterword.
