The nature of function is the core content of function system,and it is also the key and difficult point in high school mathematics teaching.The main purpose of this paper is to investigate and study the understanding level of function property of senior one students.150 senior one students of a middle school in Zhao'an county are selected as the research object.The current situation of understanding function property of senior one students is investigated and studied with the sub-level structure of solo classification theory as the evaluation framework.Through the questionnaire survey and classroom observation,with the help of SPSS17.0 statistical software to process the data,and the data and materials obtained are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively,and finally the following conclusions are drawn:(1)On the whole,nearly 80% of the students' understanding of function properties is at the level of multi-point structure or association structure,but there are some differences in the level distribution of students with different properties.In terms of concept understanding of function properties,about 30.2% of the students are at the level of association structure;in terms of comprehensive application of function properties,about 41.0% of the students are at the level of association structure Level.(2)The factors that affect students' understanding of the nature of function mainly include the arrangement of teaching materials,knowledge itself,teachers' teaching methods and students' individual differences.The unreasonable arrangement of some contents of the textbook will lead to cognitive obstacles for students;the abstraction of knowledge increases the difficulty of understanding;whether the teaching methods of teachers play a good role in guiding;the basic differences of students themselves are all the reasons that affect students' understanding of the nature of functions.According to the results of the questionnaire and the records of the classroom observation,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of functional nature:strengthen the concept teaching,pay attention to the psychological construction process of the students' learning of functional nature;pay attention to the infiltration of mathematicalthinking methods such as the combination of numbers and shapes and the classified discussion while teaching the textbook knowledge;strengthen the construction of the knowledge system of functional nature,pay attention to induction and reflection;make the ability to Promote the students to understand the questions or test questions,and train the students in all aspects.
