The junior high school stage is the enlightenment stage for students to learn chemistry.The students' learning interests,learning methods and learning effects are very important for future chemistry learning.As a modern teaching method,visualization has become more and more widely used in the field of education and has become a hotspot in the field of education.In the context of the era of education informatization and knowledge economy,this research combines the concept of visual teaching with chemistry teaching in junior high school with the characteristics and current situation of chemistry teaching in junior high school.In order to improve students 'learning interest,enhance teaching effects and cultivate students' thinking abilities I started my research.The research is about how to apply visual teaching to junior middle school chemistry teaching.On the basis of consulting literature,defining core concepts and theoretical research,I analyzed the teaching functions and applications of visual resources and illustrations in textbooks.I made a questionnaire to find out the current situation of junior middle school chemistry teaching,and it was proposed to apply visual teaching to junior middle school chemistry content teaching and teaching links with a variety of visual teaching tools to show students the production process of knowledge and tap the thinking behind the revealed knowledge.Two teaching cases were selected and designed,and the proposed visual teaching strategies were applied to teaching.In this study,two class students are used as experimental objects,which were divided into a control class and an experimental class.The experimental class was visually taught,the control class was traditionally taught and a semester of teaching research was conducted.Used pre-test and post-test score analysis,questionnaire surveys,and student interviews to understand the impact of visual teaching on junior high school students 'chemistry learning,including changes in students' learning interests,learning methods,and learning effects.After research,the following conclusions were reached: teachers applied visual teaching to junior high school chemistry teaching could visualize the abstract chemistry knowledge with explicit tools,explicit implicit thinking,add fun to the chemistry class and make students' thinking clearly visible and reduce difficulty in learning.And visual teaching combined with specific teaching contents and teaching links helped students master chemistry subject knowledge,enriched learning methods,built knowledge networks and improved learning efficiency.
