"Information processing and expression" is one of High School Information Technology Infrastructure (compulsory) course of four modules. The corresponding content of the curriculum contains "processing and expression of text information", especially embodied in this section of "Structured and visualize expression of text information". But the discovery from the analysis of teaching content and related teaching cases is that teaching content is rich, but broad and deep enough, there is no way to study and create a class of representation expressly, systematically and deeply, so he cannot better reflect the effect of visualization and structural expression in multimedia works created and expressed. In this regard, according to illustration of knowledge visualization tools, from the perspective of the producer to explore how students learn to use knowledge visualization tool and from the point of view to study illustration knowledge visualization in Teaching, which on one hand is of great significance for students to enrich their knowledge of processing text information and enhance their information literacy, on the other hand in the course of the study the researchers also exercise the skills of using knowledge visualization to assist teaching IT.In this study, knowledge visualization tools, illustrations and other concepts were discriminated with literature research, analyzing advantages of the realization illustrations ability to use knowledge visualization tools from levels of knowledge visualization tools using and the level of students’illustrations ability; through questionnaires in the understanding of research objects on the basis of the existing level of knowledge, combined with illustrations connotation, knowledge visualization tool characteristics, determining students knowledge visualization capability illustrated teaching content; use case analysis, analysis of outstanding cases related reference works explore appropriate and feasible teaching mode, teaching strategies and methods, based on the design of teaching cases, carry out the corresponding teaching activities, and reveals teaching problems, summed teaching law; according to the definition in this study illustrated connotation, combining multimedia works evaluation dimensions designed based on knowledge visualization tools, multimedia rating scale works, the students’ability to detect cases, while preliminary knowledge of visualization tools to optimize multimedia works, to the internal mechanism of the effect of illustrations.Through this teaching practice, most students can master the use of one to two kinds of knowledge visualization tool manufacture multimedia works, and show the effect of illustrations; some students are able to skillfully use visualization methods processing text information, and can address the different knowledge structures choice of appropriate visualization tools; a few students can be flexibly combined on the basis of the type shown and can be shown innovation.
