With the implementation of new curriculum standard,history discipline tends to test students' capability.Therefore,more and more history exam questions are presented in the form of the corresponding historical materials.Such exam form requires students to have stronger reading and material analysis abilities and to continuously improve the learning transfer ability of students,namely,to flesh the original cognitive structure out or change it by combining the learnt knowledge with new knowledge,thus continuously accumulating and summarizing new experience or correcting the wrong cognition.However,it is difficult to cultivate these abilities only by the traditional history courses and history textbooks.It requires teachers to teach literature materials other than that in textbooks and requires both teachers and students to read more historical accounts.Although reading historical accounts can improve teachers' professional competences and cultivate and improve students' comprehensive quality,in actual teaching,the concept of "reading" is gradually equal to "learning textbook knowledge" in the mind of most middle school students or even their parents,meanwhile,the current situation of history teachers in reading historical accounts is also not optimistic due to various reasons.It has been found that reading more historical accounts is beneficial to middle school history teachers in learning new teaching philosophy and method,enriching specialty basic knowledge,improving personal teaching skills and building personal teaching characteristics,and it is also beneficial to students in cultivating history learning interest and history thinking ability.Middle school history teachers should widely read the ancient and modern historical accounts,middle school history teaching journals,popular historical accounts and similar miscellaneous materials,pay much attention to stimulate students' interest in reading historical accounts,guide students to widely read these historical accounts with positive and healthy content that is in line with the physical and mental development of students,and infiltrate the content and intension of these historical accounts into the whole process of daily middle school history teaching.Moreover,middle school history teachers also should moderately apply the real and popular historical accounts that can arouse the interest of students in the history teaching,to greatly exert its positive effects on middle school history teaching.
