| With the development of a new round of curriculum reform and the proposal of core literacy,educators are paying more and more attention to the important value of core literacy in cultivating qualified builders and successors.The concept of historical space-time is an important part of the historical core literacy.It plays very important role in basic scientific training as well as students’ personality development.The best way to cultivate the concept of historical space-time is the historical map teaching.History is the most intuitive reflection of the objective historical process.When teach history in middle school,with the advantages of historical map’s attraction and intuition,teachers can cultivate students’ space-time concept and implement the concept of "student-oriented".Therefore,it is of great significance to strengthen the research on the application of historical maps in teaching from the perspective of theory and practice.This paper consists of introduction,four chapters and conclusion.Based on own practical experience,the author describes the application strategy of historical map in history teaching of middle school in details.The first chapter mainly narrates the definition of historical map,including the meaning,classification and characteristics.In addition,it proposes the theoretical basis of using map teaching from the perspective of educational psychology,and discusses the application value of historical map from five aspects.The second chapter,through questionnaire,analyzes the current situation and issues of using historical map teaching in daily middle school history teaching practice.Lists three issues where should improve: Paying less attention on map teaching,the way to using map teaching is too simple and the method is improper.The third chapter discusses the principles and strategies of historical maps in teaching.The use of historical maps must follow the scientific principle,the principle of objectivity,and the principle of reflecting the course.Meanwhile,Need to guidegood use of modern information technology and live maps;Launch a wealth of student activities with the maps.The fourth chapter,combining with own teaching practice,enumerates typical map teaching cases,and explores the application of historical maps,so as to play the important value of historical maps in teaching. |
