In recent years,because of the low requirements for the venue and equipment,but the high interest,easy to carry out,more and more people love fancy rope skipping.With the great popularity and promotion of the fancy rope skipping,more and more people join in this activity,which has a positive role in strengthening the physical and mental development of students.This study adopts the literature research method,expert interview method,Questionnaire survey,experiment and mathematical statistics were used to study the effect and mechanism of fancy rope skipping on physical self-esteem of children aged 10-12 years old in primary school.76 students in Grade 5 and grade 6 of Getang primary school in Nanjing were divided into experimental group of 38(20 boys,18 girls)and control group of 38(19 boys,19 girls)for 12 weeks The intervention of fancy rope skipping course,12 weeks of regular physical education learning for the regular group.Through the measurement of physical self-esteem in the physical self-esteem scale for children and adolescents,the data obtained were analyzed by Excel and spss22.0,and the following conclusions were obtained:1.In the early stage of the experiment,Duan Yanping(2000)made a physical self-esteem scale for young children for the experimental group and the control group.The results showed that the quality-oriented education of Getang primary school in Nanjing has achieved certain results.The physical self-esteem level of 80 students aged 10-12 in the front side of the experiment is generally higher than the middle level(3-3.5,full score 5 points).2.The longitudinal comparison of the pre-test and post test in the experimental group shows that there are different degrees of improvement in health,physical attractiveness,sports skills,appearance,physical activity,strength,speed,flexibility,endurance,coordination,physical value,overall self-esteem,among which in health,motor skills,physical activity,physical value.The two tail results show very significant differences The experimental results show that the 12 week teaching content of fancy rope skipping can effectively improve the level of students' physical self-esteem.3.Through the comparison of the pre-test and post test of the control group,it is found that the increase of the routine teaching content used in the control group in the aspects of health,physical attraction,sports skills,appearance,physical activity,strength,flexibility and coordination,and physical value is smaller,but the increase is smaller than the increase of the experimental group's results,while the sig in the aspects of health,sports skills and physical value The results showed that P < 0.05(with significant difference),which indicated that the physical self-esteem level of students could be improved through the regular physical education course content learning.4.After 12 weeks of intervention experiment,through the horizontal comparison between the experimental group and the control group,it is shown that the sig(double tail)test results(except flexibility)in the various subscales of body self-esteem of the students in the experimental group are all P < 0.05(with significant difference)compared with the students in the control group.Compared with the conventional teaching content,fancy rope skipping has a better effect on 10-12-year-old students' physical self-esteem.
