| Fancy rope skipping is a original and interesting sport which is adopted from traditional Rope skipping. Fancy rope skipping, which fits in with the characteristics of "sunlight sport", has obvious advantage in physical education in primary and secondary schools. The research focus in the developing conditions of Fancy rope skipping in Wujiagang Primary School in Yichang city. By means of the research methods of literature, field observation, questionnaire and statistics, the study makes an analysis on the following aspectsistudents’ cognition to Fancy rope skipping, teachers’ cognition to Fancy rope skipping, participation of students to Fancy rope skipping, Developing conditions of Fancy rope skipping in school and the influence factors of the promoting of Fancy rope skipping in Wujiagang District. The following Conclusion can be drawn therefrom:1, With a large numbers of young and high-degree teachers in Wujiagang Primary School, the overall conditions of the P.E teachers are good, which may promote the P.E work.2, A large majority of teachers in Wujiagang Primary School has a degree of, but not deep understanding in Fancy rope skipping, which is attributed to the shortage of sources of professional knowledge.3, Fancy rope skipping have the high popularity of students which can arouse the interest of sports. Most of students are willing to learn Fancy rope skipping.4, There are some shortages in the development of Fancy rope skipping in Wujiagang District, such as the quantity and quality of professional teachers, the single form and the Low frequency.The Fancy rope skipping achieved good effect in schools,but also needs to be improved.5, Limitation Factors of promoting and development of Fancy rope skipping in Wujiagang District are as follows:supporting degree from school leaders and parents, inadequacy of professional teachers, security issue and the factors of students their own.The suggestion to solve above problems is as follows:1,Strengthening promotional work of Fancy rope skipping with all kinds of media including internet,magazine.2,Arranging knowledge learning and skill training of Fancy rope skipping for young teachers.3,Making Fancy rope skipping a separate curriculum. Linking the class teaching with the practice after class.4,Founding the sport team and interest group of Fancy rope skipping to promote the popular sport.5,A diversity of Games should be organized to provide the opportunity to learn and a stage for all students. |
