Academic procrastination refers to a behavior characterized by learning that is not performed in accordance with the learning plan after the student has developed a learning plan.Academic delay leads to poor learning efficiency and declining results in primary school students,and will also have a negative impact on the physical and mental health of primary school students.Scholars at home and abroad are exploring ways to eliminate this negative impact.Primary school is a crucial period for the character and personality of primary school students.Good living habits help students to grow up healthily.Good study habits also help students achieve good grades in their studies,and students' performance in learning is also the most One of the aspects of concern,the parental style of parenting has a direct impact on the student's learning life.Throughout the study of academic delay by scholars at home and abroad,few scholars have linked the academic delays of primary school students to parenting styles,but the relationship between the two is inseparable.Therefore,this article starts from this aspect to explore the academic delay of primary school students relationship with parenting style.This paper takes primary school students from grades 3-6 in two primary schools in Zhangzhou City,Fujian Province as the subjects,and uses the questionnaire method to investigate the academic delay of primary school students.The data after the survey is systematically statistically analyzed,analyzed and discussed with SPSS17.0 software.In order to get the basic situation of primary school students' procrastination,the relationship between primary school students' academic delay and parenting style:primary school students' academic delay is significantly negatively correlated with the parental parenting style,the emotional encouragement type and the emotional warmth dimension,and the love-type and neglected dimensions.Significant positive correlation,and the correlation with the authoritarian dimension is not significant.At the same time,this article uses a semi-structured interview method to interview parents,class teachers and students themselves.Based on the interviews,this paper discusses the reasons for the delay of primary school students from the aspect of primary school students,different parenting styles and cooperation between home and school.Finally,it proposes countermeasures for the current situation of primary school students' academic delay and the reasons for primary school students' procrastination.This paper focuses on the suggestions on correcting the school students' academic procrastination in terms of parenting style and home-school cooperation.It can help parents and teachers find ways to cultivate students' good habits and reduce the behavior of primary school students.
