Survey On Parents' Demand For Childcare Services For 0-3 Years Old Infants Under The Background Of Universal Two-child

With the implementation of the "universal two-child" policy in 2016,the number of children aged 0-3 in China has increased dramatically in a short period of time,but the number of new born children has not achieved long-term growth as expected.At this background,the healthy development of the child-care service industry has obviously become an effective means to promote the implementation of the "universal two-child" policy.On the one hand,to help the existing two-child family ease worries;on the other hand,for the family planning two-child family to eliminate the "lack of time and energy","no one to raise" concerns.With the development of the society,more and more parents pay attention to the care institutions,and parents' demand for care also increases.However,the imbalance between the supply and demand of nurseries in China and the uneven quality of services in nurseries have become an urgent problem to be solved.This study attempts to investigate parents' demand for childcare services for 0-3-year-old infants in Shijiazhuang city through questionnaire survey,and carries out the research from the perspective of parents' demand.It is of great significance to understand the demand degree of parents for childcare services for the improvement of the quality of childcare services,the improvement of parents' parenting concepts,and the formulation of relevant policies.First,the forecast questionnaire was prepared based on relevant literature and authoritative questionnaires.By issuing and collecting the forecast questionnaire,the specific contents of the questionnaire were revised to form a formal questionnaire on the premise of reliability and validity.Then,formal questionnaires were issued and collected,and SPSS was used to analyze and process the data,so as to understand the current situation and difference of parents' demand for child-care services for 0-3-year-old infants in Shijiazhuang.Furthermore,based on the results,further discussion and analysis were conducted,and the following conclusions were drawn: first,the birth policy promotes the surge in the demand for childcare.The demand of parents for childcare services for infants aged 0-3 in Shijiazhuang is between the comparison need and the very need,which is at a high level.Secondly,the demand level of parents in the seven dimensions of child-care service is from high to low,including environment and facilities,childcare services,teachers' professionalism,home-care interaction,educational activities,government support and convenience services.Third,0 to 3 years old infants and young children nursery service parents demand is influenced by many factors,in infants and young children's age,whether or not the only,the types of parents,parents age,parents' education,family structure,family monthly income,parents on a daily basis with time of the infant and the main caretakers of significant differences on the physical condition,there is no significant difference on young children's gender;Fourth,parents' demand for childcare services shows a trend of diversification.In terms of the expression of demand for childcare services,more attention is paid to the demand for universality,while the demand for particularity is relatively low.Fifth,parents' awareness needs to be improved,such as the function of child-care services,the importance of 0-3 year old infants' growth,to improve their own scientific child-care experience.The last but not least,this study puts forward Suggestions for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the childcare service industry from the perspectives of parents,childcare institutions and government.On the parents side: pay attention to 0-3 years old infant growth stage,set up scientific concept of parenting;Understand the nursing service correctly,undertake the responsibility,escort for the child.In terms of childcare institutions: to develop universal and special childcare services;To strengthen the construction of environmental facilities and provide abundant and sufficient materials for activities;Optimize the training program of teachers and improve their professional quality;Increase the frequency of family care interaction,strengthen scientific parenting guidance.On the part of the government: vigorously develop universal public childcare service agencies;To accelerate the training of full-time teachers for children aged 0-3 years;Strengthening administration and improving laws and regulations;We will strengthen oversight and implement disciplinary measures.
