Childcare is an important social issue related to the growth and development of children. As the main bearer of child care responsibilities, mothers' parental pressure has a greater impact on personal physical and mental health, infant growth, and family harmony.Learning about child care support policies have far-reaching significance for alleviating mothers' pressure on childcare, which can also guarantee the welfare of women and children.Recently, the construction of the childcare service system for 0-3 year-old infants' mothers has been attached so much attention in China. The childcare support policies have not been established. Therefore, studying the effect of childcare support on the parental pressure of 0-3 year-old infants' mothers is useful for improving the childcare support policies,so that we can help mothers to alleviate the parental pressure. Therefore, based on Social Role theory and Social Support theory, this thesis aims to research 0-3 year-old infants' mothers by literature research, questionnaire survey, and statistical analysis to analyze the data of 0-3 year-old infants' mothers on the availability of childcare support and childcare stress in Shanghai. This research found the following results:Firstly, mothers who are the main bearers of childcare responsibilities in the family generally have greater parental pressure.Secondly, time support has a negative effect on the parental pressure of 0-3 year-old infants' mothers.Paternity leave and flexible work arrangements significantly reduce the parental pressure.Thirdly, financial support is not statistically significant in the parental pressure. The reason is that the maternity allowance and maternity medical subsidy are only for the stage of mothers' production, which lacks financial support for childcare. But childcare is a long-term process. The Social Support theory points out that the support should be adjusted at different times,so the insignificance of financial support is explained by this theory. Finally, service support has a significant negative effect on the parental pressure of 0-3 year-old infants' mothers.Based on these results, this research put forward three suggestions of time, economy and service to alleviate mothers' parental pressure,so that women' s welfare can be guaranteed.
