Research On Practice Intervention For Family With Disabilities Under The Perspective Of Family Resilience

There are so many disabled persons who are mainly cared for by families in China,so that improving the well-being of disabled persons and their families is the proper meaning of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and promoting social harmony.The occurrence and continuation of disability,accompanied by the entire life development process of disabled persons and their families,will make individuals with disabilities and family caregivers face tremendous physical and mental stress,social exclusion and other difficulties.The family system has multiple challenges such as reduced adaptive functions,tension of members,and rigid or disintegrated family structures caused by maladjustment and exclusion from the external environment.However,the current disability policy system level and service practice level pay more attention to individuals with disabilities,lack of attention to family needs in the disability situation and support for family development capabilities.From the perspective of the problem,relief services and research trends toward individuals strengthen the disadvantaged status and negative labels of disabled groups,and the potential and advantages of disabled groups and their families are ignored.From the perspective of family resilience theory,this article provides an innovative theoretical perspective for explaining the process in which some disabled families actively respond to and adapt well to multiple difficulties and challenges.This article uses the T-assisted social service agency in Hefei City as the field investigation point,and takes the staff of the T agency and some disabled persons served as the research object.Through methods such as participatory observation and in-depth interviews,we explore the ways and processes for families with disabilities to cope with the crisis,as well as the status of services for families with disabilities who are involved in social work.Under the guidance of the perspective of family resilience,on the one hand,we analyze and evaluate the response and adjustment of the crisis caused by disability within the family system from three aspects: family belief system,family organization model,and family communication process;on the other hand,we explores the service effectiveness and servicedilemma of the disabled social organizations represented by T institutions from the outside of the family system.Among them,the plight of family services for people with a disability includes the periodic challenges of family structure,difficulties in social integration,insufficient professionalization of social work services,and insufficient social coordination among key subjects.Based on the research and analysis of the above research issues,the article attempts to propose intervention strategies for improving the family's resilience of disabled people from four aspects: empowerment of the subject,community integration,service expansion,and resource guarantee.Specifically,the first is to reshape the internal protection factors of the disabled person's family system;the second is to build a family-centered community support system;the third is to implement the family social work service for the disabled;the fourth is to promote the co-governance of multiple subjects led by the party building.It is expected to provide theoretical and action references for social work intervention services for persons with disabilities.
