As one of the elements in the field of preschool education,preschool teachers bear the responsibility of training new people in the future.The ultimate goal of preschool education is to seek happiness for children,and only happy preschool teachers can cultivate happy children and create happy education.The professional happiness of preschool teachers is an important part of their professional life,which not only affects the happy growth of children,but also contributes to the quality of their professional life and professional development,and is even related to the in-depth development of preschool education.On the basis of combing and analyzing the existing literature on preschool teachers' professional happiness,based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,positive psychology theory and Noddings' concept of happiness education,this paper conducts an empirical study on the professional happiness of preschool teachers in Nanchong city by means of questionnaire survey and interview.First of all,230 preschool teachers in Nanchong city were selected as research objects,and the survey was carried out from five dimensions of physical and mental health,cognition,emotion,occupation and society,and the results were analyzed by SPSS24.0,in an attempt to depict the overall situation of occupational happiness of preschool teachers in Nanchong city.The results showed that the occupational happiness of preschool teachers in Nanchong city was above the average level,and the occupational happiness of preschool teachers was different under different dimensions,demographic and organizational characteristic variable.Secondly,based on the questionnaire survey and supplemented by the interview method,9 preschool teachers were interviewed in depth,and summarized the problems and causes of preschool teachers' professional happiness in Nanchong city.The main problems include: Long working hours,physical and mental exhaustion;The huge gap between income and effort;The confusion of personal future and the limitation of professional development;Children' Parents' lack of understanding and supporting of work and the embarrassing environment atmosphere under the homogeneous culture ofkindergarten.The reasons for these problems include: The government pays insufficient attention to the economic and social status of preschool teachers;The society has excessive demands and expectations on preschool teachers;The kindergarten management system and environment are too rigid and inflexible;Preschool teachers own improper educational concept and lack of professional quality.In view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward the basic strategies to improve the professional happiness of preschool teachers in Nanchong city from the four dimensions of government,society,kindergarten and teachers themselves.The government provides necessary guarantee for the occupational happiness by improving the economic,social and legal status of preschool teachers.At the social level,preschool teachers should get more understanding and tolerance,including children' parents,families and media.Kindergarten through the creation of a good environment,improve the management system,the establishment of a development platform for preschool teachers to establish the necessary conditions for professional happiness.As the key to improve their own happiness,preschool teachers need to establish a correct career view,maintain physical and mental health,conduct research and reflection.The author makes some rational thinking on preschool teachers' professional happiness and other related variables,aiming to break through existing research routines,jump out of the limited concepts such as “career happiness”,“social support” and “professional identity”,and deeply explore preschool teachers' professional happiness.In the future,based on the micro perspective and from the perspective of preschool teachers' own professional experience,preschool teachers' professional life will be presented and explored in a three-dimensional,real and dynamic way,so as to link their professional happiness with real life world.
