The academic procrastination of contemporary middle school students is very common.Not only will procrastination behavior have a negative impact on individual learning process and academic achievement,but also cause students' negative emotions,which is not conducive to the development of students' physical and mental health.The production of academic procrastination is the result of the combination of many factors.This study discusses the relationship of self-control and academic procrastination in junior high school students and whether mobile phone dependence and time management disposition have a mediating role in junior high school student's self-control and academic procrastination by introducing mobile phone dependence and time management disposition and puts forward corresponding educational suggestions in order to reduce the academic procrastination behavior of junior high school students and develop good study habits.Based on a comprehensive review,induction,analysis and evaluation of the concepts,measuring tools and existing studies of self-control,academic procrastination,mobile phone dependence,time management disposition,this study investigated 736 junior high school students in two schools in Haikou City and Wenchang City,Hainan Province,using stratified sampling method,and reached the following conclusions:(1)In the aspect of academic procrastination,girls' academic procrastination scores were significantly higher than boys';the academic procrastination scores between urban and rural junior high school students was no significant difference;there was no significant difference in academic procrastination scores between only and non-only children;the academic procrastination scores increased with the rise of grade,and the scores of junior three were significantly higher than junior one and junior two,and the scores of junior two was significantly higher than junior one.(2)About self-control,the self-control of boys scored significantly higher than girls;there is no significant difference between urban junior high school students and rural junior high school students;there is no significant difference in self-control scores between only and non-only children;the self-control scores decreased with the rise of grade,and the scores of junior one were significantly higher than junior two and junior three,there is no significantdifference between junior two and junior three.(3)In the aspect of mobile phone dependence,the score of mobile phone dependence of girls is significantly higher than boys;there is no significant difference between urban junior high school students and rural junior high school students;the score of mobile phone dependence of non-only children is significantly higher than only children;there are significant differences in mobile phone dependence scores among different grades,the score of mobile phone dependence of junior two students is significantly higher than junior one and junior three,and the scores of junior three was significantly higher than junior one.(4)In the aspect of time management disposition,the time management disposition score of boys is significantly higher than girls;the time management disposition score of urban junior high school students is significantly higher than rural junior high school students;the time management disposition score of only children is significantly higher than non-only children;the time management disposition scores decreased with the rise of grade,and the scores of junior one were significantly higher than junior two and junior three,and the scores of junior two was significantly higher than junior three.(5)There was a significant correlation between self-control,academic procrastination,mobile phone dependence and time management disposition among junior high school students.Junior high school student's self-control is negatively correlated with academic procrastination;there was a significant positive correlation between self-control and time management disposition,mobile phone dependence and academic procrastination;self-control had significant positive correlation with time management disposition;mobile phone dependence had significant positive correlation with academic procrastination;self-control had significant negative correlation with mobile phone dependence;time management disposition had significant negative correlation with academic procrastination.(6)Junior high school students' self-control can positively predict time management disposition,negatively predict mobile phone dependence and academic procrastination;mobile phone dependence can positively predict academic procrastination;time management disposition can negatively predict academic procrastination.(7)Time management disposition play a partial mediating role between self-control and academic procrastination.Mobile phone dependence didn't play a partial mediating rolebetween self-control and academic procrastination...
