In order to meet the challenge of the 21 st century,the country proposes that the key to comprehensively promoting quality-oriented education and improving the quality education system lies in the educational curriculum reform,and the reform of teaching methods is a very important aspect of the curriculum reform.The guiding ideology of modern educational methods is to advocate heuristics,oppose injection,emphasize teaching as the leading and students as the main body,aiming to cultivate students' ability to acquire,update and discover knowledge.The game teaching method can create a relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere,effectively stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning,it has the characteristics of visual intuition,multiple-effect and high efficiency,provides students with opportunities to express their views and practice knowledge,encourages students to take the initiative to observe and think,highlights the main position of students in teaching,and gives full play to students' subjective initiative in the process of learning,which is helpful for students to develop individuality and enhance their learning ability.Therefore,using the game teaching method in high school biology teaching can not only improve the quality of classroom teaching,but also promote the enthusiasm of high school students in biology learning.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,educational experimental research to conduct practical research on the application of the biological game teaching method in high school.First,by reading the literature and defining the relevant concepts,it understands the emergence,development and implementation of the game teaching method;Second,it sorts out the relevant research to understand the problems arising in the process of game teaching and the new situations and potential problems.and on this basis,it develops a questionnaire todeeply understand the current situation of the implementation of the game teaching method from the aspects of teachers and students;Third,based on the investigation results and educational practical experience,this paper organizes the types of games and applicable knowledge points which are suitable for biology teaching in high school,and takes the senior high school's students of grade 2 in Fengxin No.1 Middle School as the teaching practice object,puts the game teaching method into practice,and proves that this method is feasible in high school biology teaching through the statistical analysis of data.Finally,the following research results are obtained.1.The result of the questionnaire survey on the current situation of the application of the game teaching method showed that most students hope to improve their learning interest by adding games to the class;most teachers mainly focus on traditional teaching methods in the usual teaching process,and they are willing to try the game teaching method,but lack of theoretical support and practical guidance.2.Taking the senior high school biology textbook of the PEP Edition as an example,combined with literature review and teaching practice,this paper collated the classroom process and applicable knowledge points of seven games: you draw and guess,word guessing,megaphone,who is the spy,role-playing,modeling and debate.3.Through the teaching practice of the game teaching method,this paper made a comparative study on the students' achievements before and after teaching.The results showed that the game teaching method can improve the students' performance better than the traditional teaching methods,and for the difficult learning contents,it is more helpful to the students with poor learning habits.In addition,in practice,the author finds that as for the application of the game teaching method,the following points should be paid attention to.1.Teachers should make full preparations before the game and make clear the rules of the game with the students,so that the classroom will be organized in an orderly manner;2.When choosing games,teachers should try to choose games with simple rules and high degree of student participation,so as to reduce the waste of time;3.Teachers' appropriate use of rewards during the game can keep students participation;4.Try to arrange the game in the class summary to prevent students from indulging in the game and having no desire to study.The results showed that game teaching has necessity and feasibility of application.Although the game teaching method has achieved good results in teaching practice,there are some problems in the teaching process.The author analyzes these problems and puts forward some corresponding suggestions,hoping to provide some reference for front-line teachers to use the game teaching methods.
