The Application Of Poetry Into History Teaching In Junior High School

Poetry plays an important role in traditional Chinese culture.Not only does it have extremely high literary value,but its historical value cannot be ignored.Since ancient times,it has been said that there is no separation between literature and history in our country,which makes it possible for poetry to adapt to history teaching in junior high school.In 2016,the new history textbooks of the compulsory education approved by the Ministry of Education have been used throughout the country.The new textbooks have included more ancient poems in the ancient Chinese history section,which shows that the Ministry of Education has fully understood the value of poetry to the education of history.It has an important role to apply poetry to history teaching in junior high school.For students,it can increase students' interest in learning history,enhance patriotism and cultivate core qualities in history.For teachers,it can not only improve teachers' professional development,but prompt the development of teaching materials.The application of poetry in history teaching in junior high school is flexible and diverse,involving the entire history teaching process such as introduction,classroom lecture,classroom summary,and homework.As a teaching resource,poetry is not available for any history teaching at any time.As a teaching aid,it needs to be different from person to person.It must take into account the teacher 's level and care students' comprehensive ability.In practical history teaching,teachers should follow principles of appropriateness,ideology and selection and pay attention to the problems that arise when citing.Finally,the author analyzes some cases where poetry can be introduced in the process of history teaching so that some references can be provided for history teaching in junior high school.
