In high school textbooks,there are mainly three styles: narrative,expository and argumentative.Novels are a kind of narrative,and narrative is the most important part of Chinese teaching,which highlights the important position of high school novels in Chinese teaching.As far as the novels themselves are concerned,high school novels are responsible for teaching objectives such as cultivating students' minds,cultivating students' aesthetic taste and improving students' ability of appreciation,so it can be seen that high school novels also bear important teaching objectives in teaching.In recent years,however,high school novel teaching situation is a cause for concern in Chinese teaching,students are happy to see tired,because the teachers in the classroom,modular teaching mode to the novel,causing students don't interest in learning,learning efficiency is low,thus to improve the teaching status quo of the novel,improve the students' learning efficiency is the key of the teaching.In novel teaching,character,plot and theme is the key to the teaching content,including the plot for shaping the character image,revealing the theme has a unique role in thoughts,if students can well understand the plot of the novel,it is helpful for the study of the novel,but in the present teaching teachers too pay attention to characters and ignore the story,which is harmful for the novel teaching,mainly from the perspective of the plot of the novel,therefore,the study of novel for high schools are discussed,in order to improve the current novel teaching.The main object of the research is the story plots of the selected novels in the compulsory textbooks of senior high school Chinese teaching edition.Based on the actual situation of the teaching of the novel story plots,the author explores the strategies suitable for the teaching of the novel story plots.This paper is divided into four parts: the introduction part raises questions,introduces the research origin,research object,research status,research significance and methods.The first chapter analyzes the selection and compilation of the novel in the compulsory textbook for senior high school Chinese teachers,summarizes the elements of the novel and discusses the importance of the story.The second chapter investigates the current teaching situation of high school novel plots,trying to find out the problems in teaching and the reasons for the problems,including the problems of students and teachers.The problems of the students mainly include: replacing the detailed analysis with the general narration of the story,the superficial analysis of the plot,and the loss of interest in the teaching of the plot.The problems of teachers mainly include the lack of theoretical knowledge of teachers' novels,the failure to deal with the problems of teachers' teaching and students' learning,and the unsuitability of the traditional teaching ideas of "full teaching" for the teaching of novel plots.The third chapter is the core part of this thesis,mainly to explore the most suitable for the plot of the novel teaching strategy,in view of the problems arising from the plot in novel teaching and puts forward some principles and feasible strategy to follow,on the basis of conform to follow certain principles,the implementation of targeted teaching strategies,mainly includes: improving teachers' attention on the teaching of the plot,plot and plot novel elements associated with narrative theories innovation teaching,focus on the novel,through the analysis of the connotation of causality deepen students' understanding of the plot and cultivating students' interest in learning the six aspects of the plot,in order to maximize the teaching effect.It is hoped that the current situation of novel teaching can be improved through the study of novel plots in high school Chinese textbooks,and that the study of novel plots in high school Chinese textbooks can play a role in attracting more and more students.
