From the "reading a whole book" proposed in the "Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary high schools(experimental draft)"in 2003 to the "Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary high schools" in 2018,which formally put forward clear requirements for"reading a whole book" in the form of "learning task group",it can be seen that "whole book reading teaching" has been paid more and more attention by the education circle.First of all, this paper gives a stratified overview of "whole book reading curriculum",from "whole book" to "whole book reading",and then to "whole book reading curriculum".After that the necessity and feasibility of "whole book reading curriculum"are discussed from three dimensions from theory to practice.Secondly, this paper focuses on the analysis of the whole book reading curriculum of full-length novels, and further divides the full-length novels into two teaching modes of "natural concatenation" and"recombinant concatenation" from the perspective of narration, and gives teaching cases respectively. Finally, based on the macro point of view for the whole book reading curriculum teaching practice recommendations, and combined with examples of appropriate evaluation methods.
