Calligraphy is the outstanding culture of the Chinese nation and an important carrier of human civilization.The inheritance and development of calligraphy has become an important link in the current national education system,which is of great significance to the improvement of individual cultural quality,the cultivation of spiritual character and the improvement of the cultural level of the whole society.The ministry of education has issued relevant documents,which not only stressed the importance of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools,but also put forward specific requirements for calligraphy teaching in primary and secondary schools.However,there are still many problems in the implementation of calligraphy teaching in primary and middle schools in minority areas.This paper takes the current situation of middle school calligraphy teaching in kelqin district,Inner Mongolia as the research object,and makes a specific investigation of seven middle schools in kelqin district,tongliao city,to grasp the implementation of calligraphy teaching,preliminarily clarify the problems in teaching,and propose improvement measures.This thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter introduces the development and connotation of calligraphy from a macro perspective,including the development course of calligraphy,the cultural implication of calligraphy and the aesthetic features of calligraphy.The second chapter deals with the purpose,significance,basis and main content of middle school calligraphy teaching.The third chapter investigates the current situation of middle school calligraphy teaching in kelqin district of tongliao city from the micro perspective by means of questionnaire survey and field interview.The fourth chapter,aiming at the problems presented on the basis of the preliminary investigation,tries to put forward some specific Suggestions on the calligraphy teaching of junior middle school in keerqin district of tongliao city from the aspects of teachers,teaching materials,teaching methods and teaching facilities.The research of this paper can promote the teaching of calligraphy in the middle school of keerqin district of tongliao city,improve the teaching quality of calligraphy,and provide reference for the development and implementation of calligraphy teaching in minority areas.In addition,it is still of positive significance to promote the development of local culture.
