A Study On The Social Work Practice Of Seafarer's Children's Growing Up And Family Support

The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the grand goal of "gradually building China into a maritime power",and also made a major deployment of building a maritime power.Seafarers are the carriers of the dream of maritime power,the basic strength of building China into a maritime power,the strategic guarantee of realizing China's maritime power and the common concern of the whole society.But now the problem of seafarer brain drain is obvious,which directly affects the stable development of China's shipping industry.Because of the particularity of occupation,the family problem of seafarers is particularly prominent.The family problem is one of the main reasons for the brain drain of seafarers.In the final analysis,the problem is caused by the fact that seafarers are."not at home",but it is an objective fact that can not be changed due to the influence of occupation factors.The long-term absence of seafarers has led to the instability,of seafarers' family structure.Other members of the family have to bear more responsibility and pressure to supplement the lack of role,especially the children of seafarers.Due to the lack of father's role in different stages,it is impossible to provide more family support for their children's growing up,so it is easy to have family problems in different stages when their needs are not met in the growing up process.Therefore,the solution of family support for seafarers children's growing up plays an important role in seafarer's family.This paper takes the problem of seafarer's children's growth and family support as the research subject,and takes the seafarer's children with low family support as the research object.After measuring 12 seafarer's children with the scale,it was found that 7 seafarer's children had the problem of family support.I used interview and observation methods to collect data and information,in-depth understanding of the common problems of seafarers'children growing up and family support,and comprehensive analysis of the main causes of these problems.According to the different family support problems of seafarer's children in the growing stage,we introduce the support.of the next generation family,the same generation family and the relatives family respectively.Through the use of structural family therapy mode,we have designed different schemes respectively,intervened in practice with the method of case social work,helped to ease the relationship between parents and children,broke the old interactive mode of family,reshaped the stable family structure,and used professional working methods to solve the problem of family support for the growth of seafarers' children.At the end of the service,the three typical service objects are evaluated and closed.Finally,I review and reflect on the whole research process,summarize the successful experience and reflect on the shortcomings.
