Intervention Study Of Structural Family Therapy In Children’s Social Withdrawal

Social withdrawal is a kind of internalized psychological behavior problem,which refers to the withdrawal behavior,shy behavior and inhibition behavior in all situations in strange and familiar environment,and is relatively stable in different times and situations.Social withdrawal sits in a variety of types,and influences can come from both itself and from external factors such as home and school.Social withdrawal has a profound impact on children,not only into adulthood,but also at a deep level affecting the child’s interpersonal,social adaptation,marriage,employment,etc.Long-term social withdrawal not only leads to children’s mental illness or problem behavior,but also affects the quality of children’s lives,hidden huge economic burden and social crisis.Therefore,the concern about children’s social withdrawal is of great significance.The existing micro-intervention studies of socially regressive children have focused on the individual level of children,the child close caregiver level and the community level,and these interventions have achieved some interventional effect.However,through the performance of social withdrawal,reasons and so on in-depth analysis,the author believes that different situations of social withdrawal should have a more suitable,more targeted intervention methods.This paper studies a case of social withdrawal children who show more obvious social withdrawal in familiar environment(family),and by analyzing the social withdrawal derived from the poor family structure,the choice of structured family therapy model has certain applicability and advantages for analyzing and solving the problem of social withdrawal in this case.Therefore,this paper takes the ZS Community X family of Wuhan As the object of social withdrawal,aims to improve the case owner’s social withdrawal,uses the structure of family therapy,treats the whole family,challenges the family’s power structure,establishes the new rules of the family,achieves the reconstruction of the family structure,improves the negative effects of the family on the social withdrawal of the service object,and finally reduces or even eliminates the social withdrawal of the case owner.The results show that the improvement of social withdrawal in children’s social withdrawal is effective,mainly reflected in two aspects: first,the case owner in the family and other members of the social will to enhance,as shown as more frequent social behavior,withdrawal and shy behavior gradually decreased;Although the intervention has some effect,but there are some shortcomings,such as the intervention process,the real factors difficult to touch the root cause of the case’s social withdrawal-grandmother’s gender concept problem,some family relations did not get involved.These deficiencies may have some effect on the stability of the interventional family structure and the persistence of the case owner’s social withdrawal effect.Therefore,although the whole study proves the feasibility and effectiveness of family-level intervention and structural family therapy mode of social withdrawal from theoretical analysis and empirical effect,the shortcomings still need to be further improved and perfected.
