Export and education are two important sources to drive a country's economic growth.This paper attempts to establish the causal impact of export(High-tech,Agricultural and overall)on education(School enrollment).Using a panel data and fixed effect model of 22 top Asian export countries from 1990 to 2017 and Instrumental Variable(? 2SLS)to solve the reverse causality bias problem,this study finds a significant positive impact of export on education.It also examines the rich heterogeneous impacts.First,while exports in high tech industry increases the education level,agricultural exports decreases education level.In addition,such effect also varies by gender and different level of education.
