Research On Development Of Higher Education And High-tech Industry Growth In Zhejiang Province

With the coming of the knowledge economy era,the linkage between Highereducation and High-tech Industry have become the trend in the development of thecurrent Higher education. Because of the high strategic and intellectual,High-techIndustry has been the hit pot and important indicator in the International competition,what’s more,the functions of personnel training,scientific research,service communityin Higher education can almost meet the demand of High-tech Industry growth.High-tech Industry growth need the support of Higher education,in the other hand,thedevelopment of Higher education relys on High-tech Industry growth. Zhejiangprovince is affluent in education and economic,but now it’s meeting the problems thatuncoordination development phenomenon appears between Higher educationdevelopment and High-tech Industry growth.This paper makes research on therelationgship between Higher education development and High-tech Industrygrowth,and proposes measures based on the above theoretical and realisticbackground.First,the paper summarizes the research in domestic and foreign,based on thetheories of human capital,technological innovation,triple helix,and used methods ofeconomics, statistics,and to make comprehensive and systematic theoretical analysiscorrelation between Higher education development and High-tech Industrygrowth.Second,the paper introducts the status quo of Higher education developmentand High-tech Industry growth in Zhejiang province,and makes a brief analysis of thecorrelation between the two above as foreshadowing for the thefollowing content.Third,the paper builds VAR models to make an empirical analysisbetween the relationgship of Higher education development and High-tech Industrygrowth in Zhejiang province,and finds that increase science and technology fundscould promote High-tech Industry growth.Last, the paper buils the linkage betweenHigher education and High-tech Industry and propose measures in order to promotecoordinationated development between Higher education and High-tech Industry.The research results and innovation of this thesis are in three aspects:Firstly,combines theorises between educational economics, industrial economics andstatistics, makes comprehensive and systematic theoretical analysis correlationbetween Higher education development and High-tech Industry growth in Zhejiangprovince.And,it may off systems theory for researching the problems of Higher education development and High-tech Industry growth in Zhejiangprovince.Secondly,this thesis adopts the method of quantitative and empricalresearch,makes an empirical analysis between Higher education development andHigh-tech Industry growth in Zhejiang province.What’s more,putting research visionin Zhejiang province is a innovation in research areas.Thirdly, the paper promotescoordinationated development between Higher education and High-tech Industry forZhejiang province with the rapid development of Higher education and High-techIndustry encountered problems in Zhejiang province,which contributes economicdevelopment and in transition during the “Twelfth Five-Year” Plan.
