With the rapid development of the social education informatization,the model of "Internet and Education" and the great popularity of mobile Internet technology and smart phones,Mobile-learning based on digital learning appears and is rapidly coming into education.Especially,We media like WeChat among them has become more and more attractions and applications in education.doing a research of this paper is based on following three aspects in order to achieve WeChat public platform with the methods of teaching geography curriculum carried into geography teaching in senior hight school:the objective requirements of the education informatization,the new Senior Geography Curriculum Standard and the needs of geography teaching in school.This paper focuses on the general idea of WeChat public platform to assist geography teaching,adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,and on the basis of existing research,is guided by mobile learning theory,mixed teaching theory and independent learning theory.First,this paper puts forward the designed principles of WeChat public platform for geography teaching according to between the specific needs of students' learning and designed principles of Mobile Education and Mini-course patterns.Second,the Platform for Geography Learning Resources is put into use by two classes,Grade 1,in a senior high school of Linxia County,Gansu Province.After practicing the Platform for Geography Learning Resources in geography teaching,interviewing the students and teachers' questionnaire,we make a survey and examination about the function of the Platform for Geography Learning Resources in learning and teaching.Results show WeChat public platform is suitable for the geography teaching in senior high school,at the same time WeChat public platform application need to follow certain procedures and methodsin in geography teaching in senior high school;In addition,WeChat public platform has the good application value in geography teaching in senior high school.And using geography-aided teaching with WeChat public platform in practice can gain the following profits: arousing the students' interest in geography learning,promoting the students learning knowledge of geography well,improving students' ability to solve problems,developing the student's methods and efficiency of solving geographical problems and teachers' teaching in the transforming their teaching patterns and cultivating students information literacy.However,there are still some problems in the course of applying WeChat public platform in geographyteaching in senior high school.Taking the following four points for example: in column design,the platform contents,in short of students' learning time and supervision,unfamiliar operation and unsupported application for geography teaching from teachers and students,and so on.So,the author puts forward some relative measures of solving problems mentioned above in the course of geography teaching.
