Since“the urban and rural planning law of People's Republic of China”was promulgated and implemented in 2008,the center of urban and rural planning has gradually shifted to the countryside,and it has attracted more and more attention.In twenty-first Century,China entered a new era of urbanization.“The overall planning of urban and rural development”and“urban and rural integration“have become hot spots nowadays.The urban and rural planning plays an important role in the economic and social development and modernization in China.In recent years,our country has put forward a series of major measures on it.A new pattern of overall urban and rural planning was put forward in the 17thh CPC National Congress.The elimination of urban and rural dual structure was proposed in the 18th CPC National Congress.The 19th CPC National Congress proposed the Rural Revitalization Strategy and the construction of the beautiful country.Urban and rural planning is an important part of our high school geography textbook.That strengthening the teaching of urban and rural planning is conducive to construct a beautiful China.Based on the geography teaching in high school,the paper investigates the teaching status of"urban and rural planning"in geography by literature research,questionnaire survey,content analysis and interview method.The paper makes a comparative analysis on the content of urban and rural planning in compulsory and elective teaching materials,comparing with the curriculum standard and combing with the development of its discipline and the society.The writer put forward some suggestions to strengthen quality of teaching in senior school.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part:the introduction part,it explains the background of the study of this article,analyzes the purpose and significance of the study,combs the related research on urban and rural planning teaching at home and abroad,and points out the main research contents and methods.The second part:It clarifies the relevant concepts of geography teaching in urban and rural areas,and lays a theoretical foundation.The urban and rural planning of this study includes the contents of urban and rural planning as required by high school geography and 4urban and rural planning textbooks.The third part:It analyzes the internal structure,main content and the connection between the knowledge points of urban and rural planning in the textbook of human education edition,and points out the shortcomings:first,the content of the required rural areas is less,the two is the lack of the time material in the elective content,and the theory is light on practice.The fourth part:It designs questionnaire to find that high school students are not enough to understand the hot issues of urban and rural planning,and pay less attention to its related information and the depth of knowledge;It shows that its present situation in high school isn't ideal according to the survey and analyze the reasons.The fifth part:Based on the analysis of content and the current situation of teachers and students'teaching and learning,the principle and the teaching measures of strengthening the quality of teaching in high school geography are put forward.Such as optimizing teaching materials and multiplying teaching to get rich resources;deepening consciousness and studying actively to stimulate interest;collecting information and integrating resources to learn from multiple sources.According to the article,the contents of urban geography teaching in senior high schools include compulsory textbooks,contents of urban and rural planning and elective teaching materials 4"urban and rural planning".In the teaching material,the compulsory and elective teaching material of the human education edition attaches great importance to the relevant knowledge of the city,which involves less content in the countryside and the selection of the content of the textbook is obsolete and lagging,and it is not of the times.Compulsory and elective textbooks are repetitive about part of the city,but they are complementary and interrelated.Teaching can weaken the duplicated part and link up relevant knowledge.In the field of investigation,it is found that the urban and rural planning is not paid much attention in the geography teaching in high school,and the high school students are not ideal for the urban and rural planning,especially the rural knowledge.The main reasons leading to this phenomenon are the impact of examination oriented education system,improper handling of teaching materials and limitations of existing teaching conditions.In the field of countermeasures,we put forward the corresponding countermeasures to the students'"teaching"from the teaching materials,teaching methods and teaching resources,and from the perspective of deepening the consciousness,collecting materials and learning methods.
