Under the promotion of the new curriculum reform,the activity columns in the new geography teaching materials are greatly increased.In many middle schools in China,the teaching situation of geography teaching material activity column is not ideal.How to better integrate the teaching material activity column into the geography class is a great challenge for junior middle school geography teachers.The study of activity column teaching of geography teaching materials will be helpful to promote the innovation and reform of geography classroom,to cultivate students’ geographical literacy and to promote teachers’ teaching ability.From the collected literature,there are very few literatures that combine teaching material activity column with urban and rural areas for research.Therefore,the author chooses the activity column of junior middle school geography teaching material for research.This paper mainly uses the teacher interview,questionnaire survey and class observation,cognitive and implementation of activities in the urban and rural areas,according to the results of the analysis it is concluded that the urban and rural schools there is biggish difference in the aspect of teaching materials activities columns,embodied in the following three aspects: in terms of geography teachers,weak in city schools,rural school;In terms of the cognition of activity columns,rural teachers are more satisfied with textbook activities and more aware of the importance of activities than urban teachers.In terms of the implementation of activities,such as the secondary development of teaching materials,the implementation of three categories of activities,and the difficulties encountered in the implementation of activities,the implementation of urban schools is better than rural schools,with fewer difficulties.Finally,based on the analysis results,this paper analyzes the causes of the differences between urban and rural areas in the activity teaching of geography textbooks in junior middle schools,and gives some Suggestions on the activity teaching in rural schools,so as to balance the differences between urban and rural areas. |
