Study On Patriotism Education In Geography Teaching In Junior Middle Schools

Patriotism is one of the core values of socialism and a necessary basic quality of citizens in the new era.In recent years,more and more attentions have been paid to the patriotism education.Strengthening the patriotism education of young people is conducive to the implementation of the core literacy and the fundamental task of cultivating morality,the cultivation of students' sound personality and their feelings of home and country,and the establishment of the life creed of knowing and serving the country.But in the actual process of geography teaching,there are still many problems in the infiltration of patriotism education.This research summarizes the patriotism education materials implied in the geography teaching materials of junior high school,and puts forward the corresponding infiltration strategies based on the problems existing in the patriotism education of junior high school geography teaching.This research is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background,purpose and significance of this paper,expounds the research status of patriotism education at home and abroad,clarifies the research direction of this paper,and determines the research methods and ideas.The second part introduces the concept of patriotism and patriotism education,analyzes the feasibility of patriotism education in junior high school geography teaching,enumerates the contents of patriotism education,and sorts out the patriotism education materials in junior high school geography teaching materials.The third part gets to know the current problems existing in patriotism education and analyzes the causes of this phenomenon by investigating the current situation of patriotism education in geography teaching.The fourth part puts forward the basic principles and infiltration strategies to be followed in the patriotism education in geography teaching in junior high school based on the problems found in the investigation.The fifth part is the teaching design case,which,by taking "Territory" in the first volume of the eighth grade geography textbook as an example,cultivates students' nationalawareness and concept of territorial sovereignty,and stimulate students' sense of social responsibility,through the study of "superior geographical position" and "a big country with both land and sea" and other modules.The last part is the conclusion of this research,which points out the shortcomings of this study and research prospects.
