The STEM education concept focuses on the cultivation of students' knowledge construction ability,further promotes students' understanding of learning content,and helps to establish students' thinking style and improve their self-learning ability.The ability of knowledge construction is not a simple change or superposition of knowledge.It contains the transformation of ideas and the restructuring of the structure caused by the conflicts between old and new knowledge and experience.It is the enrichment and deepening of the original knowledge and the storage of knowledge.The ability to organize and build new knowledge architectures.In addition,the STEM education concept combines the concept of interdisciplinary education,truly integrates various disciplines through project design,and applies multidisciplinary knowledge to solve a certain problem.To carry out teaching under this new educational concept requires students to construct knowledge actively,so it has a supporting role in cultivating the knowledge construction ability of high school students.It can be seen that the STEM education concept is effective for cultivating the knowledge construction ability of high school students,conforming to the needs of social development,and this concept has great significance to the students' actual learning needs.This article takes the general high school general technical course as an example,and takes the second grade students of a middle school in Guilin as the research object.Comprehensive STEM education theory and innovative education concepts,using literature analysis methods,questionnaire survey methods,action research methods and other research methods,in-depth investigation and research on the knowledge construction ability of high school students,the research results will be to train and improve high school students knowledge construction capabilities provide some theoretical and practical guidance.This article consists of the following four parts:The first part consists of the first and second chapters.According to the research background and the purpose and significance of the research,the current research status at home and abroad is comprehensively analyzed to understand the research status of knowledge construction ability.Define the core concepts of this paper,select the research content and methods,and expound the implications of the relevant guiding theoretical foundations for this research.The second part is the content of the third chapter.This part is mainly about the investigation of the status quo of knowledge construction ability.This part uses the method of questionnaire survey to analyze the status quo of high school students' knowledge construction ability.The focus of the survey is mainly on students' sharing,negotiation,argumentation,creation and reflection,and is fully prepared for better research.The third part is the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter.The fourth chapter mainly proposes the training teaching strategy according to the research status of the third chapter,and then carries out three rounds of action research under the guidance of STEM education concept.The first round of action research mainly based on the initial proposed teaching strategy.After the first round of action research,the proposed strategy was revised and improved,followed by the second and third round of action research.After three rounds of action research,the high-level students' knowledge construction ability in the general technical course teaching was summarized effective strategy.The fourth part is the sixth chapter.This part mainly analyzes the effect of high school students' knowledge construction ability after conducting three rounds of action research.It mainly uses analytical works,questionnaire survey methods and interview methods,and combines classroom observations to high school students.The effect of knowledge construction ability under the STEM education concept is analyzed,and the corresponding conclusions are drawn.The fifth part is the seventh chapter.This part is mainly research on conclusions and prospects.The following is the conclusion of this study:The strategies of high school students' general technical knowledge construction ability:(1)create context and set up doubts.Under the guidance of STEM education concept,create a relaxed and pleasant teaching atmosphere to enter the theme of learning,attract students' curiosity,let students integrate into the teaching as soon as possible,and carry out the theme research step by step according to the guidance of teachers.(2)Provide brackets to guide communication.Focusing on the theme of current learning,a conceptual framework is established as required by the “nearest development zone”.Let students explore independently,conduct group consultations and discussions.(3)Summary induction and analysis interpretation.Analyze and summarize the viewpoints then summarize and draw the connotation of the corresponding knowledge points also combine the correct scientific explanation with the students' existing knowledge and experience to teach the students and guide the students to a deeper level of understanding.(4)Arranging tasks with coaching.In the existing materials,brainstorming,design and production.Teachers will solve the corresponding problems in the classroom for students.(5)Exchange evaluation,reflection and sharing.Teachers organize students to conduct class discussions,actively publish teaching feelings,summarize individual learning gains or experience,and guide students to share and reflect on each other in learning.After class,they can further modify and perfect the works according to their personal interests or after class communicate with teacher and innovation.
