With the advent of the fifth information technology revolution and the intensification of social competition,STEM education has become a focus attention for educators and researchers.The purpose of STEM education is to cultivate students' STEM literacy,that is,the ability of individuals to comprehensively apply subject knowledge to solve practical social problems related to STEM.The requirements of STEM literacy are consistent with the country's goal of cultivating composite and innovative talents.It is an effective way to improve students' innovative spirit and practical ability,and to improve their skills in 21st century.It is also an important direction of national education reform.At present,STEM education in China is based on maker education mostly.The practice methods are mainly about school-based courses,community competitions,and extra-curricular comprehensive practice courses.There are problems such as large investment,high thresholds,and low student participation.As one of the basic subjects,the information technology course is related to technology and it is an important tool to support the learning of other disciplines.It has the unique advantage of integrating STEM education concepts.Therefore,the STEM education concepts are integrated into information technology teaching through project-based learning.It is very important for China to solving the current problems of STEM education and effectively developing STEM education.This article is based on the STEM education concept and the current "Primary and Middle School Information Technology Curriculum Standards".It implements a projectbased reconstruction design for junior high school information technology teaching.By implementing an information technology teaching design that incorporates STEM education concepts,this paper studies information technology teaching under STEM education concepts Whether it can effectively achieve the purpose of STEM education and promote the development of students' STEM literacy.First,the thesis explains the research background and significance of integrating STEM education concepts with information technology teaching to achieve STEM literacy,consulting STEM education and project-based learning literature to clarify the research status in this field,clarifying the research issues,content and goals,and finally determining the research Thoughts,then,based on the relevant research concepts and theoretical analysis,sort out the theoretical basis related to this research,and secondly,carry out the project-based reconstruction design and development of the junior high school information technology teaching that incorporates the STEM education concept,with " Where is the summer vacation" as the design The case is used for teaching design and implementation.Through the application of teaching practice,the experimental teaching method is used to analyze the final teaching effect and verify the research hypothesis.Finally,the research results of information technology PBL teaching under the concept of STEM education are summarized and summarized,the innovations and deficiencies of the research are pointed out,and future related research is expected.Research shows that Information Technology Teaching Based on STEM Education Concept is better than that of traditional information technology courses.After the information technology PBL teaching based on STEM education concepts,students'STEM literacy has been significantly improved,which can effectively achieve the purpose of STEM education,help to improve students' learning attitude,subject literacy,and motor skills,and also help to cultivate students' higher-order thinking.
