The Construction Of Mathematics Curriculum Based On The STEM Education Concept

According to the current situation,the standard of a country’s comprehensive ability depends on the level of science and technology development of the country.Therefore,the demand for talents for mathematics,technology,science and engineering is higher and higher.We must mention STEM talents here.However,the number of students studying STEM related majors in the US is decreasing.The main reason is that most of the jobs related to this profession will be occupied by other countries.Some American students are not good enough in international science test.These external factors to the U.S.government that must strengthen science education for attention,so now the U.S.government has been promoting STEM professional education,the government of the United States in the process of popularization put a lot of money,manpower,also issued a related professional consultation.Therefore,more and more countries believe that STEM education is very important in the future development.For example,nowadays,Japanese and British countries have begun to focus on STEM education.The importance of STEM education in the world has increased proportionally.In the "ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard(Experiment)" in the high school mathematics curriculum as a basic course for training the quality of citizens,the function of curriculum is determined to improve the mathematics science literacy of all citizens,construction of the content system of courses to dilute the discipline system,pay attention to with daily life and various disciplines,to lay the foundation for lifelong development.Therefore,the integration of STEM education in the mathematics classroom can be a good realization of the requirements of mathematics curriculum standards,more can stimulate students’ interest in mathematics and enhance students’ understanding of mathematics.This article is about the collation and analysis of STEM education literature at home and abroad.On this basis,we search for the development history of STEM education,understand the connotation of STEM education,and further understand the current development of STEM education in China.The development of STEM education in the United States is a relatively mature and related case,looking for and analyzing the relevant outstanding cases.Some essential parts can be extracted into the STEM education concept in our country,and finally try to use these essential parts.From the theory of knowledge,this article mainly through the mathematics curriculum for the purpose of trying to study the STEM education,one hand can make the STEM education research results more effective results,on the other hand,some of the STEM mathematics curriculum also had certain knowledge also provides a series of data.From the subjective point of view,the article uses the analysis of the STEM education cases at home and abroad,and also understands the ways of the integration of STEM education.We try to make the corresponding reference to the construction of STEM education in STEM mathematics class and integrate the STEM education and mathematics curriculum.
