Xueji(lit.Record on the Subject of Education,a chapter in the Confucian canon Liji,Book of Rites)is a theoretical summary and summary of the pre-Qin education and teaching experience in China.Its educational thought not only has a very high reference value for China's educational theory research and educational reform for a long time.At the same time,Xueji,as an element and symbol of Chinese traditional pedagogy,has exerted a profound influence on the introduction of modern western pedagogy and the construction of modern Chinese pedagogy.In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,on the one hand,the study of Xueji inherited the research tradition of the Republic of China and was deeply influenced by the theory of "the source of Western learning".On the other hand,under the influence of the international and domestic situation,the original research paradigm of " follow the three generations and Taixi" is no longer applicable at this time.At this time,on the one hand,the study of Xueji was deeply influenced by Marxist historical view,and was good at studying Xueji with the attitude of "critical inheritance".On the other hand,it also reflects the orientation of pedagogy.Scholars began to study Xueji in the framework of pedagogy.During the "Cultural Revolution" period,the research with good posture at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic entered into disagreement at this time.In 1974,because of the rise of the "criticism of Lin and Confucianism" and "criticism of Confucianism and Confucianism",the "struggle between Confucianism and Legalism" was used as a clue to directly comment on the "Xueji" or to make a comparative analysis with the "Advice to Learning Paper",in order to highlight the class attribute of Xueji as a reactionary educational program for the restoration of slavery.At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China,Xueji,which was regarded as the rudiment of pedagogy,was interpreted as a model of class exploitation and class oppression in the sense of politics.A research topic in the academic field became a critical movement with rich political significance.After the reform and opening up,the study of Xueji has entered a prosperous period,breaking the dogma of the study of Xueji,re-establishing its status and ideological content,and washing up the evaluation of the "reactionary education program" during the "Cultural Revolution".With the deepening of ideological emancipation and the differentiation and synthesis of educational disciplines,the research trend of Xueji in this period was good.Scholars began to explore this educational literature from a multi-disciplinary perspective.Whether in Cihai or other educational dictionaries,Xueji has become an important source of entries.Educational and educational history works will focus on Xueji in different ways.Since the new century,the study of Xueji is not only limited to text research and theoretical elucidation,but also combined with the background of contemporary China's educational reform.Explore the educational theory in the traditional educational monograph "Xueji" to provide theoretical support and value guidance for modern educational reform.At the same time,since the new century,the study of Xueji has taken on a new look.On the one hand,the study has paid more and more attention to the combination of educational practice,showing a clear tendency of "practicality".On the other hand,the research has changed to the direction of refinement and deepening.Educational scholars have a more rational understanding of the status of Xueji in education,and at the same time excavate its practical value from a broader and pluralistic perspective.The academic history of studies in Xueji is actually a microcosm of the development of Chinese pedagogy.The ups and downs of the contemporary study of Xueji coincide with the development of Chinese pedagogy.Moreover,Xueji,as a classic work of Chinese traditional education,will also provide necessary reference and reference value for the theoretical construction and practical exploration of pedagogy under the background of the localization of pedagogy and the construction of Chinese pedagogy.
