Cooperative Learning is a creationary teaching theory and strategy, and obtained good effect .It originated from America in the 1970s,and made a material development from the middle of 1970s to the middle of 1980s. Because it improved social mental atmosphere in the class, enhanced students' achievements, and promoted students to inform good qualities, Cooperative Learning was paid attention by every country in the world, became one of the up-to-date primary teaching theories and strategies, and instituted the most important and successful teaching reform in the almost ten years by people. From the last of 1980s to the first of 1990s, there appeared the study and experiment of Cooperative Learning in our country, and acquired well achievement. It pointed out that encouraged Cooperative Learning, and improved communication development between students, accelerated teaching benefits teachers as well as students in the decides about reform and development of basal education in the State Department. From that we can see, decision-making department of our country attach importance to Cooperative Learning.Being regarded, Cooperative Learning has long history in the oversea, but it is a new thing in our country . The author finds, there was Cooperative Learning theory two thousand years ago in the ancient China;it was Lunxuequyou Idea in Xueji. The meaning of Lunxuequyou Idea in Xueji is that Lunxue (researching learning) and Quyou (choosing friends) is the two contents in the examination. Why? There is two reasons: for one thing, it can improve achievements to choose good friends, for another thing, it can disrepair school work to choose bad friends. Hence, in Xueji choosing friends play an important in the teaching course. The purpose of it is improving schoolwork by choosing good friends and helping and cooperating among students.From that we can see, Chinese Cooperative Learning sprout from Theory Lunxuequyou Idea in Xueji. Although it didn't form full system info, and itdidn't be emphasized, it emanate from Confucianism, and fit for the situation of our country. So we should inherit and develop the idea of the ancient China, use Cooperative Learning of west for reference, and build Chinese Cooperative Learning Theory.The author finds during the course of collecting data that both Cooperative Learning of west and Cooperative Learning of our country were only handled and practiced in the elementary education, and in the field of higher education few people put forward the Cooperative Learning Theory. In fact, the university is a location of studying profound knowledge, even as Newman said in his work The Idea Of University that the university is a field where promote exploration and all kinds of finding gradually were improved and approved. And in the university false ideas are exposured by colliding among ideas and knowledge. The truth is an effect by many people think freely. The two characteristics of university: exploration and research decide that teachers and students must help and cooperate each other. Only this does favor to the development of university teaching. Thus it is very necessary and important to advocate Cooperative Learning in the teaching of university.On the base of two above-mentioned questions, the author tries to build a fuller Cooperative Learning system of university while expatiating Lunxuequyou Idea in Xueji,and combining with practical instance of university teaching, and hopes to help teaching reform of university.In this dissertation, firstly, I want to deduce the historical origin of Lunxuequyou, on the basis of that, to expatiate Lunxuequyou about Confucius, Xunzi, Mozi and Zengzi. Secondly, besides dissertating the meaning of Lunxuequyou Idea, I attempt to uncover the pedagogical connotation of Lunxuequyou Idea. Thirdly, there exist some questions in the teaching of university, so I hope to build a Cooperative Learning Idea of university that fits for the situation of our country by exerting the pedagogical connotation of Lunxuequyou Idea into the teaching of university. As a whole, the dissertation belongs to the field of theory research, many methods of studying are used, such as dispute, talking and observing, est. Thedissertation tended to focus on teachers and students of some universities. The practice of the dissertation is not enough, but some methods give some revelation. From that, the dissertation contributes to educational study.
