Nowadays,the higher vocational education is developing vigorously in China.Higher vocational colleges have provided countless talents for the country and society,and the guarantee of the quality of higher vocational talents can not be separated from the efforts of teachers.Teachers are the motive force and source of the development of higher vocational education,and the fundamental guarantee for the cultivation of higher vocational talents.Therefore,teachers are very important in higher vocational colleges.How to ensure the quality of work,improve the enthusiasm and initiative of teachers during work,and stimulate teachers' enthusiasm for work is an urgent problem to be solved.Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Nonferrous Metallurgy,as one of the domestic higher vocational colleges,is also facing such problems.For further development,it has already explored and practiced the incentive mechanism for teachers from different dimentions.The incentive system for teachers has been gradually improved,but there are still some problems.In this paper,a textual analysis and elaboration on the current incentive system of the college is finished first.Secondly,a questionnaire based on the two-factor theory is designed from the incentive health factors and incentive factors to investigate and analyze the satisfaction of the incentive mechanism of the current faculty of the college.Then,the existing problems and the causes of the problems are discussed.The questionnaire measures the health and incentive factors affecting teachers' incentive satisfaction,including working conditions,interpersonal relationships,salary and welfare,system making and applying,work itself,training and promotion,and job acceptance.According to the data,problems exist in working conditions are the academic environment,salary and welfare,system making and applying,as well as promotion and training.The incentive satisfaction needs to be improved urgently.After that,the reasons behind the problems are discussed,and the incentivemechanism of the teachers can be optimized from improving academic conditions,creating a good academic atmosphere,optimizing salary structure,improving welfare treatment,improving training mechanism,enriching training content,and establishing a fair and just title promotion mechanism.
