Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education system in China,and higher vocational colleges undertake the task of cultivating high skilled personnel.After more than twenty years of development,the higher vocational education in China has made great progress,and the number of higher vocational colleges has exceeded the ordinary undergraduate colleges.In public higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi province,the task of training students is mainly undertaken by young and middle-aged teachers.However,at present,some teachers generally have job burnout,but their work is not positive.The main reason is that there are serious problems in the incentive mechanism.Therefore,in order to mobilize the enthusiasm of young and middle-aged teachers and promote the development of higher vocational education,it is of great significance to study and improve the incentive mechanism.This thesis,taking C College as an example,mainly studies the problems and countermeasures of the incentive mechanism for young and middle-aged teachers in public higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi province.On the basis of reviewing and summarizing the relevant incentive theories,first,through questionnaires,we analyze the satisfaction of young and middle-aged teachers to motivators such as salary and so on.Then we summarize and analyze the problems and causes in the incentive mechanism,and finally put forward the corresponding improvement measures.The main conclusions are as follows: The young and middle-aged teachers in public higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi province are not satisfied with the salary,welfare and Title Evaluation in general,and there are some differences among the different teachers;The main problems in the incentive mechanism of young and middle-aged teachers in public higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi province include several problems,such as imperfect salary system,imperfect professional title evaluation system,single incentive way and imperfect training mechanism;The main reasons for these problems are imperfect evaluation system,the influence of the change of the management system,the influence of the system of selection and selection of the leadership and the influence of the thought of official standard.The improvement measures mainly start from the appraisal system,the salary distribution system,the professional title evaluation system,the spiritual encouragement and the teacher training,and put forward specific improvement methods in every aspect.It is hoped that this study can improve the incentive mechanism of young and middle-aged teachers in public higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi province,and also have some reference significance for other higher vocational colleges.
