As one of the core qualities of geography,geographical practice ability plays an important role in geography teaching.According to the theories of Constructivism,Dewey's "Learning in Practice",Tao Xingzhi's "Teaching,learning,practice,unity of the three",the activities of geography practice play an important role in the cultivation of students ' geographical practical ability.Therefore,how to cultivate students ' geographical practice ability through geographical practice activities in geography teaching is a problem worthy of reflection by geography workers.Through the literature method,the author interprets the relevant literatures of geographical practice ability,analyzes its research background,research significance,domestic and foreign research status and related concept definitions,and establishes the theoretical basis of this paper.By using case analysis method,this paper analyzes and summarizes the role of geography practice in the cultivation of students ' geographical practice ability in the geography 1 of People Education Edition,Hunan Education Edition,Chinese Chart Edition and Lu Education Edition and sums up the following problems in the cultivation of students ' geographical practice ability in teaching materials: the number of geographical practice activities is small and the type is single;The design of practical activities is not perfect,it is difficult to carry out implementation,ignoring the exchange and reflection after the implementation of activities,the content design of practical activities is unreasonable and so on.At the same time,this paper analyzes some cases of geographical practice in the Journals of Geography teaching,geography education and Middle School geography teaching reference,and finds that there are still some shortcomings in the cultivation of geography practice ability in high school geography teaching: The practice activities are mainly experimental,and less investigation and investigation activities are carried out.The low participation of some students in the process of carrying out practical activities;ignoring the guidance and post-activity summary before the practice activities are carried out;the short time of practice and the complexity of the task;the lack of student participation in the design of practical activities;and the lack of systematic teaching evaluation of practical activities.The investigation in the teacher's reference book shows that there are very few teaching cases about geography experiment,geographical field investigation and geography survey at present.From this,it can be seen that there are few geographical practice activities in geography teaching.Aiming at the problems existing in the cultivation of Students ' geography practice in the current geographical practice activities,under the guidance of constructivism learning theory,Dewey's "Learning in Practice" and Tao Xingzhi's "Teaching,learning,practice,unity of the three ",the author tries to put forward the following strategies for the cultivation of geography practical ability of high school students: first,the use of local geographical resources,Carrying out a variety of activities,such as: local geographical field visits,advocating research travel,carrying out local geographical survey activities,the use of local geographical resources,the development of geographical experimental activities.Second,increase the class of geography activities,theoretical and activity courses effectively linked.Third,the rational design of geographical practice activities,based on the cultivation of students ' geographical practical ability accomplishment,from the purpose of activities,activity content,activity implementation,activity evaluation and other aspects of the corresponding measures.Finally,according to the training strategy of the geography practice ability of high school students mentioned in this paper,combined with the curriculum standard requirement of Geography 1 in the Geography curriculum standard of General high School(2017 edition),the author designs three teaching cases respectively: case design of thermodynamic circulation experiment activity,Nanchong Baita Park-Xishan Scenic Area geomorphology,soil,Case design of vegetation field investigation and investigation of Common natural disasters in hometown-taking Nanchong as an example to investigate the case design of activities.The design of the case pays attention to scientific,typical and operable,further validates the strategy of training the geography practice ability of high school students put forward in the previous article,which has important reference value for the first-line geography teachers to carry out the geography practice activities and cultivate students ' geographical practice ability.
