As an independent subject to study the past of human beings,archaeology is an important theoretical support and textbook source for history teaching in senior high schools,and an important part of developing textbook resources.Its teaching application can improve teachers' traditional teaching mode to a certain extent and further cultivate students' comprehensive cultivation.At present,more and more domestic educators begin to pay attention to the irreplaceable value of archaeological materials in history teaching in senior high school,and continue to try to use archaeological materials as an intermediary to help students understand,explain and reconstruct the traces of human history development.With the rapid progress of modern society and the promotion of a new round of curriculum reform,history classes in senior high schools are changing with each passing day.Based on the above changes,we should re-examine the current situation of the application of archaeological materials in history teaching in Chinese senior high school.This paper takes the use of archaeological data in history teaching in senior high school as the research content,through literature collection,questionnaires and other research methods,analysis of the current situation of the use of archaeological data in history teaching in Chinese senior high school.At present,archaeological materials are mainly used by teachers orally with pictures and videos.The scope of application is concentrated on ancient Chinese history,and most high school history teachers only occasionally use archaeological materials for teaching activities.The number of specific applications depends on the teaching content,objectives and teachers' personal preparation.In addition,senior high school students generally believe that archaeology is conducive to learning history,and expect teachers to use archaeological materials to teach,and often get archaeological information from popular culture such as film and television works,website news and so on.However,students pay less attention to archaeological trends in their extra-curricular time,and fail to reflect the main position of learning in the classroom.In the final analysis,in order to achieve the optimization of the teaching effect of archaeological materials,it is necessary to do research on the application ways and specific operation methods.After absorbing the research results of predecessors and drawing lessons from the relevant teaching experience of the West,this paper holds that archaeological materials should break through the space restriction in history teaching in senior high school,actively construct the second classroom,combine with the achievements of high-tech development,try to display diversified materials and enrich the experience mode of archaeological materials,and teachers should correctly guide learning on the basis of improving their professional accomplishment.Students should try to study independently and give full play to the main role of learning.
