History education is an important part of humanistic education and basic education.History textbook,as the main material of history education teaching,plays an irreplaceable role in the process of history teaching,which requires each history teacher to attach importance to using the historical textbooks and digging the content of textbooks.In addition to the obvious knowledge,the textbooks contains a lot of tacit knowledge in the image historical material,make full use of it,can improve students' interest,let the teachers' teaching get twice the result with half the effort.There are a lot of image historical materials in the high school history textbook of the people's Republic of China,but these image historical materials are often neglected in the teaching process and have not been properly used.Based on the PEP History Book One(Compulsory),this paper puts forward the countermeasures to solve the existing in the application of tacit knowledge in the image historical material by means of investigation and study.In this paper,the book of 146 images historical materials in divided into 7 categories,and the distribution of them in the teaching textbooks is summarized.Secondly,this paper introduces the application of the tacit knowledge in these 7 categories in history teaching with some examples.Finally,tacit knowledge in the teaching material image historical material application gives some suggestions on the problems in the application of tacit knowledge in the image historical materials of teaching textbook,and emphasizes that teachers should increase the depth and breadth of knowledge,develop their professional accomplishment,change thinking mode at the same time,improve the level of cognition,attach importance to the tacit knowledge in the historical textbooks and apply it flexible in teaching.Besides,it also analyzes and explores the tacit knowledge in the image historical material of teaching textbooks.The traditional teaching methods should bereformed,at the same time,also should be based on the reality.In the process of teaching history through the digging and utilization of tacit knowledge in the image historical materials of textbook,to improve the students' interest in history,so that students can better understand and apperceive the history,thus to improve students' ability and quality.In the course of history teaching,the study and application of tacit knowledge in the image historical material of teaching textbook can not only stay on the surface.The tacit historical knowledge contained in these image historical materials should be studied in depth and applied to history teaching,it has great significance to the field of history education.
