A Case Intervention Study On Juvenile Dispirited Culture

At present,China is in a prosperous period of vigorous development of Internet culture.Internet culture is deeply loved and admired by the broad masses of the people,because of its wide spread,simple and convenient transmission channels and other characteristics,especially by the young people.However,with the rapid development of the Internet,many sub-cultures which do not conform to or even conflict with the mainstream culture have emerged.Popular among young people,"Sang culture" is receiving wide attention from all walks of life."Ge Youtan","active waste person","Cheer up,you are the fattest" and other network popular concepts are constantly influencing the unformed values of teenagers,making the deviant behavior of the youth groups become more and more fierce under the guidance of their ideas.It caused significant harm and obstruction to the teenagers of their physical and mental growth.Its serious consequences is urgent to be resolved.The popularity of "Sang Culture" has also attracted wide attention from school social workers.A number of youth organizations and social work organizations have joined forces to provide new ideas for using social work-specific problem interventions and solutions in combating the "Sang culture’s" erosion of teenagers.This paper mainly describes the author in the professional practice during the participation and try to solve a case.The client was a junior high school student at Wuhan R Middle School.Due to his long-term obsession with mobile games,online novels,social media Apps,doing other detrimental things,obeying the teacher’s norm and classroom code on the face of it but in fact breaking the disciplines over and over,he became a typical representative of the entire class.After collecting relevant information,the author decided to use the rational emotive behavioural therapy model in this case to help the client solve the problem.The author has done three aspects of research mainly,the first stage is consulting referential materials and concluding the experience and limitation from the precedent cases which relate to the client’s problems;The second stage,introduce rationalemotive behavioural therapy in detail and analyze the necessity of using it in combination with practical cases.At the end,to prove that rational emotive behavioural therapy is applicable to resist the erosion of "Sang culture" by intervening the cases with rational emotive therapy,combining the follow-up of the cases and the reflection and discussion after the article.
