The education for language sense is an integral part and the foundation of Chinese language education.Given the elementary school students are exposed to the best opportunity in their life to learn a language,the language sense education is a key component in elementary Chinese education.However,in this issue,the existing studies related to the language sense education have failed to suggest practical guidance,and they have not built a clear sense with regard to the issues and the general strategies in the language sense education.In fact,appropriate and effective language sense education that is able to help students with improving the consciousness of the language sense,which advocates the reading ability and the formation of good characters.By observing and summarising the teaching practices related to language sense in the elementary Chinese education,it is found that during the self-development of the language sense,students may be exposed to the loss,misunderstanding,and excess of the language sense.The teachers,on the other hand,may be unaware of the positioning,truthfulness,and the property of the language sense.These are the barriers for students to develop a good language sense.Based on this,the language sense teaching strategy can be proposed from a more macroscopic six dimensions: the core strategy,which positions the language sense education at the centre of the Chinese language education;the comprehensive strategy,which is based on the two education bodies and education process;the enlightenment strategy,which considers the uniqueness of the elementary-level language sense education;the customised strategy,which concerns the variety of the language senses and individual characteristics among students;the practical strategy,which emphasises that building the language sense requires continuous practice and implementation;the daily strategy,which intends to develop the language sense in daily lives.The implementation of these six macro-strategies has great significance for promoting the renewal of teachers' sense of language teaching,optimizing the language sense teaching in primary school,and enriching the practice of language sense in elementary school.
