Textbook is the main basic for teachers to perform the teaching process,and also the important tool for students getting systematic knowledge.History textbook is the specific feedback for one country's ideology and what kind of citizens for cultivating.Secondary school history textbook for Malaysian national version(Written in Malaysian language)has won the favor of teachers and students in Malaysia for its scientific and ideological content,attention for unity the teaching methods and learning methods,and also the organic combination of historical pictures and text content.This essay mainly takes the secondary school history textbook for Malaysian national version(5 Books)for examples,introducing its basic structure,writing style and main features,analyzing the international image and historical value orientation of its narrative of major historical events.Based on overall evaluation,the essay also points the its advantages and disadvantages for secondary school history textbook for Malaysian national version.From the researching results from CNKI,there is no researches on the Secondary School History Textbook of Malaysian National Version.This essay aims to increase the understanding of Malaysian secondary school history textbooks through comprehensive study,which could provide useful reference for the revision of Chinese history textbooks and the reform of middle school history teaching.
