The employment pressure of college graduates continues to increase.At present,many college graduates are still unable to adapt to the new life in the early stage of their career,which highlights the problem of career adaptation.Enterprises not only test the ability of new employees in terms of professional level and work competence,but also put forward new requirements for their own occupational adaptation.Whether new employees can adapt to the new environment well will not only affect their employment,but also be extremely detrimental to their own development,and also affect the business performance and development prospects of enterprises.Therefore,how to effectively improve the career adaptability of undergraduate graduates in the early stage of employment has become an urgent new task and the intervention of social work is urgently needed.This paper uses the methods of literature research,interview and observation.Combination of T company new employee interview,The author finds that the problems of new employees' career adaptation mainly include the difficulties of corporate culture adaptation,vocational psychological adaptation,vocational skills adaptation and interpersonal relationship adaptation.This paper summarizes and analyses the causes of occupational adaptation problems,such as cultural value conflict,high job expectation,low sense of identity,mismatch between personnel and post,the role change is not timely,unreasonable talent structure and so on.The author explores the role of group work in improving occupational adaptation by analyzing the necessity of intervention of group work methods in occupational adaptation.Growth group was established based on the advantages of group work,around the needs and objectives in several sections of group work,such as initial observation,exploration and discovery,new you,live with your emotions,new journey and role playing,it tries to help new employees understand the corporate culture and the surrounding environment,re-recognize yourself and better understand interpersonal communication,vocational skills and future career development in group activities.Through group activities,group members can gain,progress and change in the interaction.
