Occupational hazards may lead to occupational diseases.In our country,thousands of employees are suffering from these hazards every day.Since the development of occupational health in our country started relatively late,we still have a long way to go in order to promote the occupational health of employees.The value concept of people-oriented work in social work is exactly what occupational health services need.The empowerment orientation social work thinks that,personal demand and problem are because of pressure caused by the environment on the personal,so social work should focus on helping enhance the recipients of power so that the recipients can resist the external environment and the oppression of the dominant group.In this paper is under the guidance of the empowerment theory and is based on the questionnaire survey of a Southwest Petroleum Enterprise.The problems of the staff contacting occupational hazards from the southwest petroleum enterprise.Group intervention has been carried out according to the needs of the clients,through the establishment of the support group,using the group's wisdom and strength,to help team members achieve the empowerment in three aspects.Comprehensive evaluation by means of quantitative and qualitative methods,has been used to evaluate the effect of the activity.The team intervention is according to the occupation health service.The intervention is to explore the advantages of the use of group work as one of the professional social work method in the enterprise occupation health service and is a new approach to explore occupational health services in enterprises with a social work perspective and Philosophy.The occupational health problems of enterprise employees are characterized by group characteristics,and the intervention of professional methods of group work can achieve the empowerment from three aspects:individual,interpersonal and environmental.The study found that occupation health services for front-line staff provided by corporate social workers can achieve the empowerment.Group work can be used to enhance employee awareness of self-protection,improve health occupation atmosphere and increase social participation.By the guidance of the value concept of "help people to help themselves",this research has laid a good foundation for enhancing self-protection of the service object,protecting the legitimate rights,ensuring the stability of enterprise human resources and enhancing enterprise competitiveness.
