Mohan is a remote border area in the past, which has undergone unprecedented transformation in the layout of the "one belt and one road" open development, becoming the "forefront" and the "center" of Chine facing Southeast Asia.In the context of globalization and urbanization,Mohan has achieved rapid development.Through field surveys, this paper interviews and participates in observation of the floating population in Mohan, consults relevant literature, and uses mobility as a theoretical starting point to conduct a more comprehensive study of the population mobility under the background of Mohan urbanization. From the perspective of mobility theory, many things in Mohan are in a state of constant change, and mobility is of great significance to the development of border port towns.Mobility includes the flow of people, goods, information, capital and culture. This paper focuses on the flow of population. From an anthropological perspective, population mobility and urbanization interact. The flow and agglomeration of migrant population promote the process of urbanization. The construction of urbanization also strengthens the mobility of population, and their livelihoods and lives are improved in the process of urbanization.Firstly, this paper reviews the historical process of population mobility and urbanization, pointing out that the development of Mohan benefits from the promotion of population mobility and urbanization construction. Then it describes and analyses the motivation, source and residence of the migrant population in Mohan. In the process of urbanization, migrants have moved and stayed in the Mohan, and their economic life and social and cultural life are topics that deserve our attention. The livelihoods of the migrant population are mainly divided into two categories:business and employment. In the process of urbanization, their economic level has been improved. The floating population who resident in Mohan long-term has a close relationship with the local people. They have worked hard to adapt to the local society and culture through interaction with local people. The author believes that in the border towns where people from different geographical backgrounds and cultural backgrounds live together, building an ethnic inter-embedded community is an effective measure to promote exchanges and interactions and to build a good and harmonious national relationship. In summary,Mohan can become an important node and channel under the "one Belt and one Road",is inseparable from population mobility and urbanization. The study of population mobility and urbanization at border ports by anthropology should explore not only its interrelationship, but also the economic and social problems of the floating population in the process of urbanization.
