Classical Travel Essays are not only the carrier of ancient scenery and custom culture inheritance,but also one of the best models for cultivating students' aesthetic ability.Travel Essays,as a kind of style,has its unique stylistic features.But in the current situation of Classical Travel Essay teaching,Travel Essays are not taken as an independent style by many teachers.And the teaching content of Travel Essays slightly stylized,so most of the students do not understand the characteristics of the Classical Travel Essays,let alone to experience the spirit,the culture and the connotation of Travel Essays.Based on the above problems,questionnaire survey method,comparative analysis method and literature analysis method were adopted to investigate the teaching status of Classical Essays in junior middle school.The problems of teachers and students were found out.The reasons for the problems were analyzed.The corresponding optimization strategies were proposed.The paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction part of this paper,which includes five aspects: the purpose and significance of the research,the literature review of research,the methods of research,the definition of Classical Travel Essays,and the basis of Classical Travel Essays teaching in junior middle school.The second part is to analyze the selection of Classical Travel Essays in junior middle school Chinese textbooks.This chapter mainly analyzes the Classical Travel Essays from three aspects: the proportion of Classical Travel Essays in the ancient essays of junior middle school Chinese textbooks,the selection of Classical Travel Essays in different dynasties of junior middle school Chinese textbooks,and the distribution of different types of Classical Travel Essays.The third part serves as the investigation of the current situation in junior middle school Classical Travel Essays teaching.Two public middle schools were selected for questionnaire survey and data analysis.The fourth part is to analyze the problems of the junior middle school Classical Travel Essays teaching.Through the data analysis of the third part,it is found that there are some problems of teachers in the teaching of Classical Travel Essays,that is,ignoring stylistic knowledge,analyzing superficiality and too limited to textbooks.What's more,there are some problems of students in the learning of Classical Travel Essays,that is,lack of interest,weak foundation and low aesthetic ability.The fifth part analyzes the reasons for the problems in the teaching of junior middle school Classical Travel Essays.This part analysis the reason of existence question by teacher and student;The sixth part puts forwards the optimization strategies of junior middle school Classical Travel Essays teaching.Aiming at the teachers,this paper puts forward some optimization strategies,such as paying attention to the importance of Travel Essays,increasing the students' stylistic awareness,deepening the text content of the textbook,implementing muti-faceted teaching as a whole,contacting the author's writing background,and making comparative reading of the articles.For students,this paper puts forward some optimization strategies,such as deepening cooperative inquiry,increasing learning interest,laying a solid foundation,attaching importance to knowledge accumulation,enhancing reading edification,and cultivating aesthetic ability.The purpose of this paper is to propose the optimization strategy for the teaching of Classical Travel Essays.On the one hand,it can provide the first-line Chinese teachers with referential methods to deepen the teaching content of Classical Travel Essay.On the other hand,it can help students improve their literary quantity and aesthetic ability.
