With the development of teaching reform and the popularization of quality education,it is an important task for our Chinese teaching to cultivate students'ability and establish right philosophy of life.As the carrier of recording and inheriting the excellent traditional culture,classical Chinese is not only an important part of Chinese teaching,but also an important tool to carry out the task of Chinese teaching.Nowadays classical Chinese teaching of junior high schools still exist some problems,for instance,we pay a lot attention to teachers' lectures but ignore students' understanding;we concentrate on examinations,while the ability is negated;we think highly of the difference,but make light of the sameness.It is worth exploring how to improve our teaching skill of classical Chinese.As a method of reading,the aesthetic reading is not only concerned with the content and process,but also concerned for the way of reading;it is not only emphasized on reading emotion,but also stressed the form and the effect of reading.It helps students,if we apply the aesthetic in classical Chinese teaching,to understand the text meaning and emotion,to obtain their own unique experience and feelings.What's more,it will be a helpful attempt to lead students to understand the beauty of classical Chinese with an independent perception,and also improve the interest in classical Chinese learning.Based on the objectives and suggestions of compulsory education curriculum standards,the thesis tries to make a study of Aesthetic Reading in the teaching of classical Chinese in junior middle school.The thesis consists of five parts:The first chapter describes the origin and object of the study,reviews the research status of classical Chinese and aesthetic reading,and clarifies the significance and methods of this study.The second chapter summarizes the problems existing in the teaching of classical Chinese in junior middle school,which leads to the significance of aesthetic reading in classical Chinese teaching.The third chapter defines the basic principles and application standards of aesthetic reading.The fourth chapter is based on the whole classroom teaching,using the principles in aesthetic reading for the standard of our study;meanwhile,we carry on the study by measuring four aspects,which are the setting of teaching objectives,the choice of teaching forms,the design of teaching process and the implementation of teaching evaluation.The fifth chapter combines with the aesthetic reading strategy,chooses the high quality and great beauty of the table of contents "Yueyang Tower"of classical Chinese in the junior middle school to do the instructional design for aesthetic reading.
