The Problems And Countermeasures Of Secondary Vocational Education In Xu Chang City

The secondary vocational education is an important part of Vocational Education in China.It has gone through the process of rise,decline and revival.It has gone through so many difficulties.At present,our country has initially formed a secondary vocational education system with Chinese characteristics which is still improving and progressing.Secondary vocational education talents provide the strong human resources support for the economic and social development of China.Xu Chang is located in the central part of Henan Province.It has an advantageous geographical position and the prosperous commercial economy.The secondary vocational education schools in Xu Chang have provided a lot of labor and technical talents for many enterprises in Xu Chang area,and have also made positive contributions to Xu Chang's economic development.Because the secondary vocational education of Xu Chang starts late and has a weak foundation,and it still has a certain gap compared with Zheng Zhou in Henan Province and other advanced cities in other provinces.Finding out the problems existing in secondary vocational education in Xu Chang,exploring the causes of the problems and putting forward pertinent suggestions will help promote the further development of secondary vocational education in Xu Chang.The framework of this paper is as follows: In the introduction part,the author introduces the background,significance,current situation,ideas,methods and innovations of secondary vocational education.The author emphasizes the background of developing secondary vocational education in the country and the theoretical achievements in the research of secondary vocational education at home and abroad.The second chapter of the paper introduces the current situation of the secondary vocational education in Xu Chang,including the basic situation,development status of students,status of quality assurance and status of government performance.The third chapter of the paper finds out the problems existing in secondary vocational education in Xu Chang,for example,the number and quality of enrollment is not high,school lacks teachers,professional settings are not reasonable,school-enterprise cooperation does not go deep,posting internship is not standardized.At the same time,the author finds the different causes of the problems as follows: the backward social concept,low salary of teachers,professional settings do not match employment,school-enterprise cooperation has low attraction to enterprises,the school is not effective in supervising the internships.In the fourth chapter,combining with the social and economic situation of Xu Chang,the author aims at the problems which had already been described,and puts forward the following solutions: strengthen enrollment management,enhance the strength of teachers,improve professional settings,deepen school-enterprise cooperation,improve internship training and so on.
