Vocational And Technical Education Existing Problems And Countermeasures

With the development of Chinese economy and the improvement of the technology, higher technology and vocational education(HTVE) gradually change into the main factors which influence the development of economy and improvement of technology in recent years. Our country has confirmed the important status of HTVE in law. Our state department had decided to improve it and made many administrative rules. The education seems to be the last one industry which do not move towards market at present in the market economy. The real reason is the impact of planning economy besides the special status of HTVE. In fact, each style of education has its own characteristics. HTVE, which is the closest style from market economy, is very important to our economy and can not get enough money from the government. Therefore, it has to survive and develop with market models. The purpose of the thesis is to discuss the main problems of HTVE, the root of these problems and solutions of these problems in market economy. This thesis raised some ideas and suggestions with realistic significance to the development of HTVE.The thesis firstly started with exiting problems of HTVE in market economy and then analyzed the causes of these problems. Thirdly, the marketilization of foreign education and nongovernmental education were used for reference. Some effective solutions were given in the end.The main content of this thesis are made up of four parts. Chapter One discussed the intension, the development and the important status of HTVE and raised that it is the one of decisive factors which influences the development of economy of our country in recent years. Chapter Two discussed the main problems in market economy, such as the positioning of HTVE, the executives and teachers, the courses and the control of its quality, the recruitment etc. of high vocational schools and colleges. At the same time, the root of these problems are analyzed. That is far from market.Chapter Three introduced the marketilization of foreign education and nongovernmental education and its reference. Chapter Four gave some solutions to these problems with the model of marketilization.The contribution of the thesis included: (1) Selecting an important topic which influences the development of Chinese economy; (2) It is based the market economy to consider the problems, the root and the solutions of HTVE; (3) Providing some realistic solutions with combination of the education law and the economic law and with the basic theories of management, human resource and marketing management.
