| Secondary vocational education is an important part of education in China, which plays an important role in the rapid development of the national economy. The state, over the past few years, has vigorously advocated and supported the development of secondary vocational education, so that it presents a picture of prosperity and development. However, due to historical and social factors, the development of secondary vocational education is facing many difficulties as well as many problems. In the paper, according to the current situation and existing problems of secondary occupation education in Wenshan, investigation and research was conducted to analyze the cause of the difficulties and problems on account of secondary occupation education development in this area,,by which the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of secondary vocational education in the area was explored, the reference for Wenshan local government and functional departments was provided,and the develop policies and the healthy development of secondary vocational education in Wenshan was promoted.In this paper, through literature review, field survey, interviews, inductive analysis and other methods, the development issues and countermeasures of the secondary vocational education in Wenshan were conducted. At present, the problems in the development of secondary vocational education in this area are as following:The social recognition towards occupation education is not high and the mechanism is not perfect. Also it is common to see inaccurate orientation, lack of innovation of the mode, unscientific evaluation of the effect of running a school. Moreover, the teaching infrastructure and the construction of the teaching staff are not enough, accompanied by the employment rate of graduates is low. Through the analysis of the reasons for the above problems, combined with the economic and social development of Wenshan region, the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:To emancipate the mind; to strengthen the government’s overall plan; to deepen the reform of education and teaching; to increase local financial revenue; to innovate the channels of employment and entrepreneurship; to improve the evaluation system; to change the traditional mode of running a school; to realize the internationalization of running a school. |
