The problem of obesity and overweight among adolescents has always been a hot topic of common concern for the whole society.According to the statistics of the National Health and Wellness Committee,the rate of overweight and obesity among adolescents in China reaches 16%,which not only affects the normal growth and development of adolescents,but also affects their psychological,behavioral,cognitive,and intellectual aspects.Chinese sports scholars have always attached great importance to scientific research in the field of exercise and weight loss.Relevant research results show that long-term low-intensity aerobic training can achieve the effect of reducing fat and improving heart and lung function,but because the form of exercise is too single,it leads to obesity.It is difficult for patients to persist for a long time,so that the overall effect of exercise weight loss is not good.Based on this,on the basis of fully considering the characteristics of high school students' personality and growth and development,this study explored the influence of HIIT(high-intensity Interval Training)and aerobic Training on the weight loss of obese high school students,aiming to explore an effective and reasonable exercise weight loss program for high school students.Methods: in this study,20 obese male high school students(BMI?25)were randomly divided into two groups: 10 in HIIT group and 10 in aerobic training group.HIIT and aerobic exercise interventions were performed for 6 weeks(4 times/week).In the HIIT group,85-95%HRpeak was followed by 2min jogging interval.The aerobic training group continued to exercise at 60-70%HRpeak for 40 min.Stretch and relax in the last 10 minutes.Results :(1)the average weight of the HIIT group decreased by 5.1kg(82.33±4.64 vs77.23±4.47kg).The average weight of the aerobic training group decreased by 4kg(83.40±7.03 vs 79.40±6.42kg).(2)HIIT group(24.83±0.97vs21.13±0.99%)and aerobic training group(25.32±2.10vs22.46±1.63%).Experimental data showed that both training methods could reduce the percentage of body fat in obese high school students,but HIIT training was better than aerobic training(HIIT:21.13 ± 0.99%):(the aerobic training group: 22.46 ±1.63%).(3)in terms of BMI,HIIT: 27.06±1.07vs25.47±0.94kg/m2,aerobic training: 27.55± 2.03vs26.23 ± 1.79kg/m2;Waist circumference: HIIT:94.70 ± 3.65vs91.50 ± 3.53 cm,aerobic training: 93.20 ± 4.89vs91.50 ± 4.83cm;HIIT: 102.30 ± 3.09vs100.01 ± 2.6cm,aerobic training: 102.1±5.10vs100.6±4.35 cm.Waist-hip ratio: HIIT: 0.92±0.02vs0.90±0.02 cm,aerobic training: 0.91±0.02vs0.90±0.02.The results showed that the two exercisemethods had significant effects on BMI,waist circumference,hip circumference and waist-hip ratio of obese high school students.Conclusion :(1)from the perspective of the effect of weight reduction,the weight of subjects in both groups showed a decreasing trend before and after the experiment.(2)in terms of the effect of reducing body fat,both training methods can effectively reduce body fat,and HIIT training is better than aerobic training.(3)in terms of specific indicators,BMI,waist circumference,hip circumference and waist-hip ratio all decreased to different degrees after experimental training in the two groups.
